How to Make a Balloon Octopus 🐙 Octopus Balloon DIY

- In this balloon tutorial, I show you how to make this really quick balloon octopus, which is the perfect addition to any underwater, under the sea theme balloon bouquet or display. It's a really easy design to make, which makes it perfect for beginner balloon decorators.
I get a lot of requests at events to make octopuses because of the popularity of sea creatures, but also because my logo is a balloon octopus (I wanted something a bit different to a balloon dog).

To make this quick and easy balloon octopus, you only need a few balloons:
1 x 11-inch round balloon in a colour of your choice (I used an agate balloon which has a marble print)
4 x 260 balloons - I've used Chrome pink
2 x 5-inch round balloons in white - I used the eyeball print balloons, but I wouldn't advise you to buy these unless you know you're going to use a lot of them as they come in bags of 100. Instead, use a normal white 5-inch white balloon and draw the eyes onto the balloon using something link a Sharpie marker.
You'll also need a hand-pump or an electric balloon inflator. For safety and hygiene reasons, please make sure you don't mouth-inflate - it's dangerous to your health and is unhygienic to yourself and others, so I really do recommend using a hand-pump or an electric balloon inflator to inflate your balloons.

As you can imagine, with my logo being a balloon octopus, I get a lot of requests to make octopuses and so I have several different ways of making them. Here's one of my favourite and quickest ways which is a great design for adding to an organic base or to a balloon column for your under the sea theme balloon decor.
