audi TT mk2 8j, how to replace seat belt stalk and remove seat.

This video demonstrates how to remove the seat from a audi TT mk2 to replace the seat belt stalk. over time these need replacing as the mechanism wears out and the mechanism doesnt always lock in the buckle. i removed the part from a audi a3 at a salvage yard with less than 40,000miles
keep the key out of the ignition untill repair is complete!!!!
1. Undo 4 x m10 spline bolts securing
seat to chassis.
2. lift front of seat slightly to gain acces to electrical connectors.
3. Engage locking tabs to relase connectors.
4. place blanket to protect trim and carefully remove seat. you have to tilt it to get it out
5. Remove M8 spline bolt holding seat belt stalk and replace with new part.
6. re-install seat
Tool required are:
1. Ratchet/impact wrench
2. M10 spline bit for 4x rail bolts
3. M8 spline bit for seatbelt stalk bolt
4. Flat head screwdriver
5. Small trim removal tool
optional: blanket to protect trim
