I never seen Ugland's boat up close or seen it raced in Key West Florida. But even by today's standards that boat with it's 3 SeaTek 720hp diesel engines would still be competitive!
He could handle boats for sure. I remember I was fishing on the ice on Nørholmskilen, and his younger brother and him spotted me, they each had12 foot cats with 20 hp, full speed ahead, pulled up the engines, hit the ice edge and stopped beside me . Anything biting !
