This video just popped up in my feed and I'm so glad it did. Just subscribed. This was a very informative video, thank you. I appreciate how you broke everything down step by step. And yes, no negotiating! I have found the same thing... When people want to bargain, I end up regretting having them as a client, and eventually I fire them.
Awesome! Thank you! Yes, negotiating price makes you feel like a used car dealer and in my experience clients who negotiate pricing aren't as likely to respect your value.
Nice video you mention try find prospects that are actively investing in ppc ads. What if they have good SEO and they are already ranking #1 in the map pack and the serps do I skip them or still try to reach out?
How would one go about identifying whether or not a prospect pays for leads or PPC. Is there a tool you recommend? or a method that works well at small scale?
Ahrefs will estimate, as will other tools (SpyFu). Beyond that, you can look at a free tool like builtwith.com/ and it will tell you if a tracking pixel is installed. None of these are 100%, especially for low volume ads like local services. Clearly, you could also change your IP address to match the location of the business and search for keywords and just see if their ad comes up
Thanks Caleb, It was vey helpful. I just have one question. I want to approach attorney marketing firm to get attorney clients in bulk rather than pitching individual lawyers. But not able to find the attorney marketing firm who are running ads in San Francisco. So what changes should I make in the chat-gpt prompt to target every organic result I find on the SERP of attorney marketing firm.
Not sure I'm following your question. But - in my experience, targeting marketing firms can be difficult unless you're looking for a job. Competition will be high (fewer target audiences more difficult than agency owners) and margins will necessarily be a lot lower
@@calebulku Is there a way to target niche specific digital marketing firms to get clients. I mean how to approach them coz you know approaching single law firm isn't gonna work.
Hey Caleb, Looking to help local businesses exclusively with web design and local seo (map rankings, reputation, etc.) Out of all the people promoting GHL and having a community around it, it seems that everything local digital marketing is your bread and butter. I admit I need order and direction as I am struggling with shiny object… Is UA-cam the only place to follow your guidance? I appreciate your videos. Awaiting a response, hopefully. Have a great week! I appreciate that, thank you! You can join my Skool community at the link below. I have some freebies there for you. But yes, shiny object can be a massive challenge. Check out the recent video I did about FB ads to get local clients as a good starting point if you're ready to run ads. www.skool.com/caleb-ulku-3029/about
I just asked ChatGPT to do it for a plumber in Houston, TX. Here's what it said: 1st Position: Approximately 504 calls per month 2nd Position: Approximately 294 calls per month 3rd Position: Approximately 189 calls per month I don't have any data to comment on how accurate these estimations are. But... using a close rate of 30% and an average job size of $500 (everything from leaky faucets to water heater replacements) means the first position is making right around $1mil per year
@@calebulku thats good but pixes and tag doesn't say if the ads are active or not - it could also mean the business was running ads 5 years ago and speaking of searching with target keywords - that only shows 3-4 ads at max - is there a way to find all the advertisers on Google based on industry | location etc?? - just wanted to know
I wouldn't use your website link in the first email as this can cause deliverability issues including links in the first email. This is what Instantly and other cold email pros say at least.
As of yet, I haven't seen SGE rolled out in local searches. It's primarily being used (so far) in informational queries. And if/when it does roll out for local search, then yes the focus would switch toward doing SEO for what SGE is looking for.
@@samiulhaq318 I think that it will be harder to do that, if done well. Many of the best local businesses still don't have a strong presence online, so where do G get the signals from. But one day, yes, I do think it will be rolled out into local.

Nice video you mention try find prospects that are actively investing in ppc ads. What if they have good SEO and they are already ranking #1 in the map pack and the serps do I skip them or still try to reach out?
I'd probably skip if they're already ranked very well in their area

Hi Caleb, Any ideas how to get the first name of the business owner, this can be challenging. Any tools?
If you know the business name, you could check the public business registration data. But what would be the goal?
Awesome video! Thanks

Other than searching for target keywords and looking at the businesses running ads? You could also scan their websites for a FB pixel or Google tag

What about electricians?
Electricians can work! Focus on specific high ticket services. If you don't know what those are yet, ask ChatGPT!
