From a Tongan I love this thanks for speaking up embracing and keeping your culture respect and god bless 💯🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️
Wonderfully and articulately captured! Your passion and desire to do it again under the au was heartly felt ..along with a lot of other emotions 😥. Felt so proud at the end of the video! Well done bro! Malo lava le faamalosi 💪🏽💯
Thank you for sharing your emotional journey, I’m a Palagi and I admire your strength to go through getting your pe’a twice! Even tho you got it by machine the first time that’s still a huge tattoo and a lot of time, pain and money! Then to get it done again traditionally bro I take my hat off to you! Nothing but respect
It takes a lot of courage to step out into the public eye with this story & own it but it also takes courage to go through it twice. You should be more than proud of yourself with this as well as the rest of the aiga. Made me emotional watching this & excited for when my time comes to go under the au. Malo le onosai ma le faamalosi mo outou! Loves up fam from the BNE ♥️🤍 - Boogie x
I know rule been broken now days uso. And doing on the machine was wrongfully with little but of knowledge. But you going back and re-tracing it over to be into mainly lively hood. I'll respect you for and congratulate you on it. It's takes more then courage to actually get it done and correctly. It takes a lot of aiga to be there to support , god first before heading to. And also mostly a lot of your time and patience to be there getting it done. Much love and thank you for sharing your story and I appreciate the fact that you done it correctly and proud of you uce. I also did stretch with The Sulu'ape Petelo Aiga. And under sulu'ape tatau crew. Congratulations on your new journey in life. Alofas! 💯🔥💙🙏🏽
Most importantly, special love for your Mrs for being by your side and with her support.

So much love and respect for you Paul, such a touching story to share with the world. Our culture is important, and to see it engraved into our people is beautiful. Capturing moments like this only go's to show and share with the world how beautiful this family is and its a honour to be apart of well done to Paul, Joel, Nancy & Arasi, no doubt dad & mum will be proud of each of yous & also to Lisha for your hard work into bringing life to the videos yous share #skysthelimit #malofie #MUFOSASI #TRIBE God bless 🙌

Beautiful Doco, Beautiful Family, Paul bigs up to you for sharing your journey. Seeing your family there and the support you have to get you thru yours is all Praise and Glory to our Awesome God. Congrats to you and the family that went on this journey. Malo le faamalosi malo le onosai. May God bless yous all
I dont have any traditional tattoos myself but its humbling to see this man own up to doing his tattoo the non-traditional way despite his embarrassment, and then to go on his new journey and get it done correctly, so amazing. Malo lava le faamalosi 🙌🏽
This was absolutely beautiful to watch. That is what its all about... our faith in God, our culture, love and support from our family!!! Thank you for sharing! xx
Respects to you Uso for upholding your culture💯🙏I hope you found inner peace after this journey. As a maaori who bears the Pūhoro I totally understand your feelings. Through colonisation we maaori lost the art of tātau by the Uhi & even till this day there is very few Tōhunga who use Uhi. I feel like I let my ancestors down by not getting my Pūhoro done by Uhi.
watching this Doc gave me the chills and not only that it taught me that we need to live our truth not only within our family but also with our culture. Tears couldn't stop overflowing watching your guys journey..it really made me realize we need to stand together as one in our AIGA.. as one in our CULTURE. I've never been this proud of our SAMOA HERITAGE if it wasn't for use sharing this amazing Journey. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS 100%..... Malo lava le faamalosi paul, joe, nancy, arasi also well done to the awesome family support.. love your NUMBER FAN from Mangere NZ.... can't wait for more DOCS or VIDS from THE ONE & ONLY MUFOSASI TRIBE....
Love you uso! What a burden to carry for so many years. You know I’m proud to be Samoan, love our culture, love our history, and love everything to do with Samoa. But our people can be really nasty, probably some of the biggest haters in the world. When a man is down, you don’t keep kicking him on the ground, you pick him up and help him up. When someone does something wrong you point it out and show them how it’s done properly instead of rubbing their faces in it. This is the true essence of being Samoan, of being a Pacific Islander. Samoans are the big brother to all the other small countries in the South Pacific and that’s how we should act, like the older brother. Help our little siblings, we shouldn’t be scolding them rather encourage and praise them. No one is born perfect, we are all flawed.
Keep your head up uce! Your a koa already for doing it twice, how many guys out there can say they’ve done it twice? They’re lucky to do it once. God Bless uce, Alofa Aku! 🙏🏾
Malo lava le tau. Absolutely proud watching this❤ You are a warrior! Malo le tauivi, Malo le loto Toa✊👏
Takes a lot of courage to do this , I don’t know you Paul but have a lot off respect for you and family and Kings Polynesian , malo le tali au malo le kau ole kaua, much alofas from Brisbane
This was so beautiful to watch.. got me in tears and felt so happy for you that you can now walk with your head held high and be proud of your pe'a.. Thank you for sharing your journey..
Kia ora whanau and friends btw I'm māori but all I wanna say is that I love the Samoan culture and I have so much respect for you's guys. As a native indigenous māori individual of Aotearoa too you beautiful Samoan brothers and sisters of mine I salute you's for doing the long traditional way) I think in my culture my tupuna and ancestors did the traditional way of getting ta moko or moko aswell back in the days cause just like the pea in my culture we call ours the puhoro. And I think when I earn and get mines I'll do it the traditional way
Wow !!! This made me tear up !!. Shout out to the two usos!! Especially the Tattooist himself,What a guy!!!! Love this man!!!. Also his team !!!! Blessings coming your way my guy!!
What a stor y and what a man hardly ever anyone had the courage to exposed this situation to the public ur the man God bless
This is so cool and interesting. I'm a Macedonian also in Melbourne and I can see the massive similarities between Samoans and us have in regards to the love we have for our home lands & traditions. I even got emotional watching this, so awesome!! Conrgatulations to everyone who got there tautau (hope I said it right) would love to visit Samoa once this corona stuff settles down. Much love!!
You should be so proud of yourself! Whether the right or wrong path was taken at the beginning, you have now arrived to Le Lagi o le Malofie. What a beautiful wife you have to stand strong by you!! Proud uso!
Hat goes off to this man. Actual so much respect. Just working on my puhoro/peha and this man doing this process twice, Unreal, amazing. Shot bro, so much kaha
Congrats Uso!!!...It takes a lot of courage to endure a tough journey of receiving your Pea and it being your second time around. As a fellow Sogai'imiti myself I'm beyond proud of you for having the courage to come out and share your story. Us Samoans are very proud people and at times too proud, instead of shaming those who didn't complete the process or authentically had the process done with the Au'. We should be supportive and encourage each other because none of us are fully aware of one another's situations. Alofa's from us here in the states.
this just got me sobbing. The strength, the connection, the family ties, the beauty. Bless all of you and thank you so much for sharing your journey with us
Wifey and I still watching this and crying. You did it uso!! Alofa aku!!

As a faimalu from the Sulu’ape Malofie ‘Āiga, it was touching watching this. It takes a lot of courage to share your journey out loud. Congrats on the journey, mālō lava le tali ‘au.
Wow thanks for being honest and open! I would’ve NEVER thought that a tatau could be done using a machine. I thought all tatau’s are done the old school way using the au! I’m getting mine done soon in Samoa! This was EXTREMELY helpful 👍! It’s certainly something to be proud of malo lava uso!

You grow old, you will never stop doing it. It brought tears to my eyes, when I watch your family reminds me of my parents and the teachings they've taught us.
