I am watching your videos from last 2 years, but I didn't have a pc that can handle photoshop 2020, but now I have a pc that can handle photoshop, I started using it myself from 2 months and learned a lot from you. Thanks, Unmesh bro.
I struggled for HOURS trying to enter info into the Curves Output area...but it was grayed out. Finally researched it and determined the fix was as simple as extending the width of the Curves dialog box. If anyone else is experiencing this, just wanted to let you know!
First off I absolutely love your tutorials you make them simple and easy to follow. I use this method for skin tones for all of my photos now, but also realize it also helps color correct other areas of the photos as well! You work is amazing!
Dude, your explanation language is a tool as awsome as the PS itself. I'd rather scroll the hell out of your vid list to find what I'm looking for than search it in other PS oriented channels. Pozdro666
very handy - i sometimes get a color shift due to funky club lighting, golden hour or heavy reflections from greenery. This lets me find a more "normal" look and then I can dial it back to regain as much of the original ambiance I want - many thanks once again
I always hit the like button before i watch your videos because i know that there're always great and edutainment. You educate us and entertain us at the same time. Great job👍👍👍👍👍
@PiXImperfect - I tried this on darker skin tones, and it doesn't seem to work well. It throws the colors way off. Works brilliantly for lighter skin tones. I made sure the colorspace was the same of course!
I usually eyeball it. But I must say this looks like a pretty precise method. I'll check out that other video you suggested to understand it more. Thank you for posting this.
Nicely explained, and really it works well but what should we do to get perfect skin tone when different colour cast on more than one person in a single frame. Please make a video on monitor calibration.
Find a few images of the tone you like (you can find them online, or from your own images), Bring them all into one PS document, side by side. Select with the lasso tool all the best looking mid-tones from their skin, no highlights or shadows. Then hit Cmd+J or "Layer Via Copy", then hold Cmd and click on the new Layer's icon in the Layer Panel. This just selects all pixels - you can also right click on the icon and look for "select all pixels", next go to the Filter menu, them Blur options, and select Average. This will render one Solid color (the Average of the skin tones you selected). Finally create a curves adjustment layer, click on the Hand icon, then hold Shift+Option (on a mac) and click anywhere on the color (just as long as you don't have a super-large selection area... best to click far from the edges) Now you will be able to read your RGB values off of the screen. You can use these numbers and follow Unmesh's instructions, you don't actually need the color swatch, just the numbers! Hope this helps.
First I wanna say thank you. Your content is amazing. I tune in almost every day. I was wondering since I don’t see on UA-cam a lot being covered recently on export settings for media & websites from photoshop/Lightroom so your photo is sharp for social media
I like the dude, but there's so much clickbait and unnecessary exaggeration in his content that it's starting to annoy me and feels unfit for anything "Official Adobe". Like, come on, referencing preset values for skin tones and using curves to adjust an image is hardly a special "cheat code". It's common practice.
@@Neroxidy A lot of people don't know how to do this and no one explains it better than Unmesh. How is it clickbait? He's a great teacher who gives us free content and you're complaining? Come on.
Sir i cant imagine editing photos without you really great way to explain everything love you so muchhh (love from india)
Bhai he himself is indian, he is from Mumbai
He is Indian dude 😹
Lots to love to you too! All the very best :)
Every time this guy uploads video
Photoshop developer:
DId i include this feature in this software?
😂😂😂😂😂
:D
@@Game_bugs001 I think PS developers have mandatory training with this guy so they understand what their product can actually do.
@@noskillzdad5504 I don't know , maybe :)
Hahaha :)
I swear it's true, who thought that something like this exists and possible in photoshop
Thank you for this short, crisp and accurate video to fix the skin tones.

I tried this, step by step, and ended up with a very green skin tone. I ended up adjusting the green down a bit and liked the result.
