Reminds you tht martial arts competitions are sports. Petchtanog dominated but Akimoto was aggressive the whole match and got much more hits in. Just his significant strikes were almost all blocked and/or countered. The amount of clean hits add up even if it was basically something tickling you wit a feather vs you throwing a large rock at them
Nah, full of garbage where, surprise surprise, the Thai fighter is allowed to constantly break Kickboxing rules and fight like Muay Thai rules throughout the match, basic biased One garbage.
@@JJOV00Surprise, Surprise you're just a casual western fan who is totally clueless. ONE FC Kickboxing rules allows 3 seconds of offensive clinching and you can also frame your opponent by using your arms ( like how Superbon did against Marat in their third fight ). Petchtanong didn't break any rules at all, when he clinched and the ref told him to let go he did that so again how was Petchtanong breaking the rules ?
@@decidingpaper6324 I think he's gonna pressure Nabil and land those powerful leg kicks and body shots. He's gonna try to do what Superlek did to Nabil.
Akimoto won that match. He was busier, landed more, and blocked most of those knees. The damage to his ribs was mostly topical from whip like toe shots, he never actually reacted to any pain or internal damage. When you challenge the champion for the belt your win must be decisive and clear, not one or two defensive counters to a two or three hit combo. The challenger did not do enough to dethrone the champion while moving backwards the entire fight. Akimoto's successful defense, was his offense. Unfortunately you can never leave a fight to the judges.
Pathetic shtshow, a yellow card should have been given at the latest the beginning of the third round for that continuous clich blocking and grabbing the opponents head, hands and foot to blocking the flow of the KICKBOXING match.
@@LivelyMountain yeah, exactly, two years ago and still the same rubbish. So what about the knee, he managed to break the kickboxing rules to start with a knee defense again and again and still didn't get hit the target with it maybe once out of ten, it was blocked kicks that left a mark on the side, which in itself is insignificant if you take many times more straight hits to your own face. so who can't cope with looking at what they see? LOL
Akimoto fought so well, but Petchtanong really just made that left knee and his exp/IQ put the extra wind in his sails.
Split decision? Ridiculous
How was that a split decision? I thought it was pretty clear who won the fight.

For me the first 3 rounds won Akimoto
Jeeeeez. Petchtanong smiling and looking fresh, made it look easy despite the rules stacked against his style. Wow
Damn that was fire 🔥
Akimoto is the kyokushin fighter, right?
He used to be long ago.

This is gonna be gud

Both high-level Prechathanong issued few weapons, but it was power and accurate I want to know how Prechathanong will fight against Nabil Anane.
Same here, Petchtanong, as experienced as he is, has never fought someone with the height of Nabil before

Na, Akimoto was way more active and was pressuring constantly. How did the Thai won against the raining Champion? By moving backwards?
accuracy, power and damage brodie, akimoto got cooked all 5 rounds
Literally just take ONE look at Akimoto’s ribs after the fight and you’ll see how and why he lost
@@jsteezzzz If he got cooked 5 Rounds then why is it a split Decision? You make no sense.
@@robouticoIt was a split decision because Akimoto is from EVOLVE MMA Gym which is owned by Chatri ( the CEO of ONE FC ).
