I had a friend for many years but has now passed away. He loved Bill Anderson's singing and songs. One night when Bill and his wife were older they came to town to sing in a bar. He saw Bill sitting at a table at the steakhouse and asked if he could sit and talk for a minute. He said Bill and his wife spent almost a half hour with him. I don't know how many times I heard that story at our old man's coffee time. But he really made that old friend happy.
