- The Crimean war (1853-1856) or the Eastern War - the war between the Russian Empire from the one side and the coalition formed by the British, the French, the Ottaman Empires and the Kingdom of Sardinia on the other.
The fighting was concentrated in the Caucasus, the Danubian Principalities, on the Baltic, the Black, the White and the Barents Seas, on the Sea of Azov and in Kamchatka as well as.
The fаighting reached its peak in the Crimea. Russia lost over 500.000 people for 3 years. The war losses included the wounded, the captured and the killed.
Our allies suffered as well: they had for about 250.000 losses included the killed, the wounded and the people who died from the diseases.
Beautiful testimony of the courage of the Russian soldiers!

The unintended humour in this is that it's a frenchman being surprised that the enemy is not so easy in surrendering. Of course he doesn't realize that not everyone is like the french ^^
Nice joke, but it was the french who took Sebastopol.
And it was a french who were the first to cross the rhine in WW2
Coming from the side who had the ass beaten by the French in this battle?
@@TheMourot The French only took Sevastopol because the Russians let them take it, know your facts lol.

Ну именно тут он прав, потому что даже в Европке к крымской войне отношение к России крайне объективно в отличие от РФ из-за пережитков совка,
