Just got my 2024 350 XCF, wanted to share my perspective. My 2nd bike is a 300 xcw with a Lectron carb, RK Tek head and Kreft suspension. First off, it doesn’t stall, at all. I can lug it in 3rd out of a tight corner and it tractors out like my 300 would. Chopping the throttle doesn’t cause flameout either. It has has very little engine braking as well, I owned a 250 XCF and 450 XCF in the past, and this has less engine braking than either of those. Surprisingly, the green map has less engine braking than the white map. Here’s the most surprising part, the new closed cartridge forks are better than my Kreft tuned forks. I’ve only got 3 hours on the bike, it’s supposed to get better with time too. Totally satisfied with my purchase.
Great ride video. Good to hear Garrett's understanding of the different bikes. He is growing to be a solid rider. Did you ever get out of 3rd gear? Those 350's are fast and I know you were being gentle on the new motor? As the old saying goes, "Their is no replacement for displacement!" Cheers!
Just picked one of these(non FE) up and searching for a skid plate. Besides the carbon fiber, does anyone know the difference between the stock skid plate and the factory skidplate for $230? Mainly concerned with the thickness of the plastic.
Just picked up my 24 FE 350. Haven’t rode it yet but super excited to. Got rid of my 17 250xc 2 smoker. A little nervous about making the switch but after riding my buddies husky 350 it made up my mind.
The price of mtb's is ridiculous. Industry is suffering and I am loving it. I work in a bike shop, see it first hand.Dirtbikes are a WAY better value. Just look at entry level Honda's. For 5k you can an amazing machine. That is far more useful.
@@rider65 I got my first job in a bike shop in 1988 when I was 16. I’ve watched this happen for decades. It’s so out of touch now it’s like a whole different sport at this point. In 2000 the most expensive DuraAce bike from most brands was ~$2500-$3000 and a Honda 450 was around $5-$6K. Now the Honda is $10K and the DuraAce bike is $15K.
I’ll keep ranting.. lol Look at Specializeds own line up. An SL8 is more expensive than a Turbo Levo e-mtn bike. How does that make sense? But even the Levo is still more expensive than the 450mx bike. No wonder kids are out riding wheelies on dirt bikes on city streets. It’s all they can afford.
100% Hornet! KTM has been killing since the late 80’s as I am familiar. I realize a company significantly older. But I held an AMA race number and towed my bike on an open 3 rail trailer with my buddies for many years to the local races on the East coast. Racing on Husqvarna WR & CR (wide and close ratio gear box) 250cc in Scrambles & motocross in the mid to late 70’s through the mid 80’s. I have witnessed first hand KTM’s are no question a beast. Gas Gas trials bikes and WP Suspensions, also under the KTM banner, are engineering some of the best machines and equipment in the business. WFO Chris! ATGATT!
Good afternoon, very good video. What would be the main differences in the engine and chassis of your 350 KR that you sold and this new bike that you bought? Best regards from Guadalajara, Mexico.🔥🔥🔥
Any issue with it bogging down and not wanting to start? Mine did it at 7 hrs finally did fire back up; changed the fuel filter and seems to run fine now.
Just got a 2024 350xcf. I'm a bigger guy (260lb) any recommendations on what I should change besides spring and shock? I assume it'll be a good bike even for a bigger guy?
Just bought a 2024 250 xcf a couple of months ago. It is absolutely a perfect bike. It is by far the best bike I have ever ridden. My son rides the 2023 250 sxf and they are very similar. Almost identical. The suspension on the xcf is perfect for me. I'm 58 and still riding enduro and playing at the track. Best.
Hello, I am thinking of buying one of these KTM 350 XCF FACTORY motorcycles, I would like to have your opinion on whether I could also do enduro with this motorcycle, thank you
Love the content of this one Chris. Awesome! I wish a lot of the lycra-wearing man-boy viewers 🤣 would embrace off-road riding and the skill it takes vs road riding. MTB and Dirtbikes are the best foundation for becoming a good rider. 👍
So Chris, would you rather be on a $6k aero gravel bike out in the High desert or your KTMs? Same bucks, same fun? ha haha, kiddind, but gravel bikes leave me a bit yawning after Baja and every other dirt track at KTM 520 or 600xr speeds.

How often do you change oil ? Every 7 hours ish ?
If 300 does all but better why did you get 350?

The 250xcf is still stuck at the shop not able to get past second. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. 🤞
Or replaced

Happily done support algorithm boosting comment. I’ll let this play in the background while I read G Thomas’s new book “Great rides According to G”😂
😜👊👊🙏
Great videos!! If you had to pick one bike, would it be the new 300 or 350?
How heavy to they feel compared to the 2 stroke?
I’m curious what your thoughts are on the fact that a bike like this can be had for thousands less than something like, let’s say, a Specialized SL8?

Yes, save watts with a KTM. The price of bicycles is...... laughable?

Right. I always wonder about that price difference between the two. 😱

WFO indeed 👊
Nice ride, Chris
She’s is sooooo pretty 👊🦋😘

I wish I could afford a new 350xcf, man I want one so bad. Great video
Nice ride! Beautiful country! What state did you ride in?
I have been riding crf250f but wife sold her ttr230 and claimed my bike we only do trial's with kids looking at xcf 250 or xcw 250 what would you pick

Is there any difference between the 2023 and 2024 KTM 350 XCf factory edition?
Chris, could you angle the helmet camera up a bit for your next video? Your sons camera is much better angled.
I always seem to hit my camera and knock the angle off. Garrett is taller which does really help the angle. 🤔😜
Was going to post the same request.
Why swap out the factory split clamps to xtrig? Which offset do you have them set?
"I'm talkin to the fans"! LOL 😂
p.s. trail maintenance? good on you guys 👍 (Wow Chris, Garrett is even more well spoken on camera than you 😉👍)
Trail maintenance is a must. I have spent some serious times clearing trails at my favorite spot. 🪚👊

Yes, you can. Just build it the way you want with aftermarket parts. What other questions do you have?

Some of us are MTBers 😎👍 (and not all men!)
👊👊
How bout dirt folks getting out on a roadcourse?
What’s msrp for this bike ? $12,199 ?

It’s the 3-5 mph up hill on the MTB that’s getting wondering, what am I doing here. 😂👊
no more air fork?!
Not riding fast enough
