I agree. She’s a marvel, a tower of strength, cleverness, and intelligence. How proud her family must be!
This testimony is a gift to the whole world.

I have watched a good few of these and this is the best interviewer so far. Many, irrelevant of age of age, struggle with the tone of the interview. This interviewer was balanced, supportive, respectful but not distant. Well done all involved.

What lovely people, Thea and Jack. It was an honor to know them through their equally lovely daughter and family. I once asked how two people who had suffered and witnessed so much at the hands of other people could have such a wonderful sparkle and happy, loving nature. Their daughter told me her parents said they’d seen the worst of people, but they’d also seen the very best of people. The way they decided to live their lives was truly inspiring. May their memories be eternal.

I am so sorry this could have happened and I feel such anger that anyone says it didn’t happen. We all must never forget or allow it to happen again.

Mrs Rumstein did such a great narrative. She experienced so much horror.
I would like to hear her husband’s story, too.
I hear they named their daughter Julia. That’s probably after her father, Julius.

Really makes me sad to hear her say that in the beginning, they thought the Germans were just going after the Poles, as if that was somehow ok.
A generous woman to give her testimony.
