you should bring this out to me. i will show the difference between the rotary rake and the wheel rakes. the pro's and cons of both and why wheel rakes do a better job for me and why i do not use the rotary rakes..
Just curious...why dont you use a rotary rake.....I use a wheel rake but considering buying a rotary rake to try and stop my crop fro twisting together while raking
@@benlewis7686 OLF makes mulch hay and a lot of it. His aim is to get across a lot of acres fast with very little focus on forage quality. When setup properly, rotary rakes are most delicate on the hay and stacks hay in a windrow vs roping it, making it a good match for high quality alfalfa and dries out faster in the windrow. Downfall is its more expensive both in initial cost and potentially maintenance and is limited in speed vs a wheel rake.

does Krone offer wheel rakes? or just tedders?

No wheel rakes, just rotary. We sell rotary probably 10 to 1.

Pandy uses wheel rakes as the benefits of rotary don't matter so much when doing mulch hay.
i do good high quality hay also just not my priority job. i say i make good hay by accident!LOL
Every now and then the weather cooperates and we can make good quality hay,lol
