Sir, as per revised IS 1199 slump cone shall be filled with 3 layers, not 4. Rest, scoop shall be used for proper sampling, cone lifting is too slow, hand gloves shall be used. However, nice to see such educative videos coming up.
70% result of this test depends on the removal of cone. Therefore, I think, this testing technique tests the skill of testing man rather than testing specimen.

He caused it to shear when he lifted the cone (too slowly) up in the first test. I’d back you up and send them home.
