Wow I can't believe it took me 2 minutes to realize Zhao Xintong is back. I was casually clicking and kind of preparing my let's call it "dinner" I look up and the prodigal son has returned. Better times ahead, guys... Better times ahead.
@@captain007x Yeah.. probably should have gone for it, but, I see his thinking, he thought there was a better chance of Murphy leaving him on an easier pot on a red after the attempt at getting out of the snooker.. It was the two lax safety shots afterwards where he under-hit the cue ball and left it a long way short from the baulk cushion which ultimately was his downfall.
Well, I don't know why people thought Zhao would win today. Yes, he showed good snooker in the Q tour and in qualifying, but this is his first professional tournament after a 20 month ban, a triple crown, and his opponent is a top player who has played decent and consistent snooker this season. Zhao is simply not ready to compete the best players in the world on big stages again. Not yet. I'm actually surprised that it came down to the Decider, Shaun should have won more confidently with his current state of play, but he made some ridiculous mistakes.
You have to remember Zhao's head to head against Murphy isn't great anyway. Zhao's only beaten Murphy once in 2018 out of all their matches together so I think your comments are a bit harsh.
Xintong never threw a match but was found guilty of not reporting match fixing and illegally betting on matches. I guess he deserves a second chance but he was a naughty boy!
Some of these players like Zhao thinks as long as they can sink balls they can win anything, but it's NOT in harsh reality and they just cannot get over it. If he can consistently score 70 plus game by game like Trump that's fair enough but he just can't.
Zhao was playing amazing never lost a game, i dont know even try , he could potting zhao was clever but this time last shot, like he be arsed , what go on crazy, it looked taken easy what he wanted to do, snooker both time, and it was little to hard and muphy got shot and win. but if working right murphy was very hard shot he didnt think or take it serious. zhao crazy he not like that
@@Emissary_of_Revolution What Shaun meant was that amateurs should acquire professional status (tour card) before being allowed to play professional tournaments, through the various routes (Q School, Amateur World Champs, junior tournaments). Which is a valid opinion, even if one doesn't agree with him.
Murphy is a legend
❤well done Murphy
Shaun deserved 👋👋👋
Good to see the best man win

Arrgh. Thought Zhao would win this. Gutted he’s out as he’s so easy on the eye.
Didn’t deserve to win after that snooker behind the green imho
@muckle8 Yes, he should have gone for the pot. He had an angle to get towards the reds. Big mistake.

@captain007x the green wasn’t easy but laying that snooker just wasn’t cricket!
@voice of the shame Murphy didn’t re- lay the snooker behind the green after potting that red in the middle . -
Shaun will enjoy his early evening feed after that.
like a pig at the trough

Sure, but Zhao did just lose a decider, so it's not that much of a shocker that some ppl thought he would win.
Deffo thrown the last frame 😂
Murphy is boss🎉❤

Sean O'Murph
Missed a trick on that green I thought
Phenomenal player.. not sure about the Kim Jong Un haircut though?
should have gone for the green.....
Mr Tumble
And most people voted for Zhao to win that match on UA-cam but sadly he lost. I hope he'll bounce back.

Murphy a disgrace to snooker
Pan Pulchny męczył się z amatorem? Nie może być :)
amateur ? xd
@@Emissary_of_Revolution Napisałem to z przekąsem. To odnośnik do słów Shaun'a, że amatorzy nie powinni grać w turniejach :)
The other amateur (Si) beat him, Zhao did not.
