- Here is the new GPM steering kit completely in aluminum for Arrma Kraton 8S, in this video I will show how to disassemble the steering, and reassemble the GPM kit.

Hey either of you guys have either the jratonbql1/5 exb arrive new out the box with ridiculous amounts of play/steering slop by chance have you? I've been waiting for my first 1/5 arrma(first 1/5 ever tbh) to add to my collection but aside from Earl Moorhead talk about it quite a bit in depth I don't believe he's found a real resolution besides installing RTR steering links upfront which I heard was also an issue with the rtr links so slthough ode prefer nit to go all metal links I'm not sure there's another way to fix the issue... if either you guys are willing and able to help me out with info or suggestions that would great as she is 8tching for some sends!!! Appreciate you both TIA 🍻🍻

Hey man great install bench vid🍻 I was paying close attention asking just recently picked up the outcast exb 1/5 and out 9f the box(I've owned and currently have approx 10 arrma rigs mostly 1/8 & 1/7 as well as different variations of the different rigs as I really enjoy that arrma enables us to create custom/ scratch "hybrid" builds with there many diff models have interchangeable parts etc etc)but when I say that the steering was trash it really was/still is after installing the hot racing version of the Ackerman & bellcrank aftermarket parts resulting in even more slop than before as well as the point awhile the servo arm mounts to the Ackerman of the outcast exb is so damn close to the center front sldriveshafts that it actually rubs when on my bench(haven't even had it ready for a proper off road maiden run yet due to little time and this issue straight out tge box. Now I'm curious how close yours gets when the servo arm bolt connected to the Ackerman comes to the front driveshaft and or if you think that by me putting some shim or thin washers under the the bearings of the bellcrank posts aa well as maybe thicker ones to replace the shims that come stock for between the top plate and the upper bearings if necessary, might work to create distance between the bolt/mount for tgebaervo arm etc etc ultimately attempting to lift up just the lower portion and increase distance between the two might actually allow steering to clear with problems when turning either way.,.? Also until tge steering links are and were originally where I instantly noticed way way way too much play (I know tgeres suppose to be a small bit but entirely too much for it nit to be sn issue as well as where the upper front Arma mount to the bulkead... it would be very just appreciated you might have any suggestions on how to resolve all tge front end slop bug if not jo worries man but I'm definitely open to any ideas, mods or practices that may work cuz she needs a proper maiden run asap. Get the Gpm before factory breaks. I have it and steering is way better
