- James Martin had just become a teacher in the Boston Public Schools when he joined the Marines in early 1967. He would be sent to Officers Candidates School in Quantico, Va.; he would receive further training in infantry and communications before he was sent to Vietnam. He would serve with the 11th Marines in a variety of duties, from signal officer to bartender.
I enjoyed your story James you are a true hero!!! We did what our country wanted us to do as Marines. Simper Fi from a Vietnam vet E5.
12 minutes about kindergarten...I can't believe he skipped his head start years. Couldn't understand a goddamned word he says. JEEZ.
Is that a Boston accent? I find it very hard to follow. He speaks too fast....
terrible interview
Didn't watch this video. But did he say he allowed his dysfunctional Government to use him as a chump and a pawn in Vietnam ? Or the fact that he was an invader and aggressor in someone else's country that did nothing to Americans or the US? Or that his time in Vietnam did absolutely nothing for American safety, security and freedom? Or that he did his part to keep that war going for almost 10 years negatively harming the US in many ways ? Just a Vietnam/Draft resistor asking for a friend.
So your a Draft Dodger POS . I should had known ,You disrespectful POS .
@@chuckjohnson2564 Another Neanderthal I need to educate. I'm a PROUD Vietnam/Draft Resister....not dodger. Dodging implies avoiding a legitimate responsibility or duty, or having a lack of character. Vietnam doesn't apply. I'm only a Draft dodger if you are a "baby killer". Are you?. If you are a Vietnam vet...then it's apparent you were pathetic back then...and nothing has changed
Once an asshole...always an asshole.
@@topgeardel Happy Holiday to you also you HATER .
@@chuckjohnson2564 Such a jolly guy you are
