Is the 8th string's open tone just a little bit pitched higher than the original track? Though I'm afraid to ask this..
its a seven in Drop F# .. but yeah the 7s String is not properly tuned
@@danme6528 Its in drop F. And its not really tuned wrong. The string is just floppy, you need a .86, .84 to get a tight low F with a 25.5 scale. That sounds like when I had a .78 on my 7.

Really cool cover! But low notes are out of tune a bit. Maybe you should use thicker 6th string
Seven string sound flooppy and distuning, amazing guitar, but 25,5 its tiny for drop G :(
it is lower - it is Drop F. BTW Architects used to play 6-string ESP guitars with 25,5 with 6th string tuned F#.
actually G#, but in new songs (Hereafter, Royal Beggars) yes - F#
Jason Richardson uses Drop G on a 25,5"
And he uses 0.58 on tem 7th string. It all depends on the "pressure" of the strings... luthier

kaboose111 well he's put a tab there, just not how YOU want it. One could convert it or just get the software. Bit rude to say it's garbage because he hasn't given it in the exact format you want it in.
There are multiple ways to get it. It can't even open in NotePad.
kaboose111 gpx files ONLY open in Guitar Pro 6. You want it in a text form, which is painful to tab out (I've done it myself. Fucking terrible pain because you have to type out all the lines as well). My previous comment stands. Get Guitar Pro 6 and your issues will no longer be a problem. Or get someone to download it, and convert the file to PDF for you.
