I love how in Peglin all balls bounce off to nowhere through the majority of the fight, then pop up like 999 damage when most of the enemies have 1~2 HP left
So, for Peglin. First, the Research points are for the games Bestiary in encirclepdiea. As for the Wall, it is kind of DPS check. I'll admit, I winced when you passed over the artifact that makes all of your attacks inflict Spinfection (the game's equivalent to Poison).
If you want to keep Peglin, it might be best to count beating the first boss as a win and each next boss as an extra life/ a respin. At least until you feel like you can regularly beat the first few bosses.
Roguelike Roulette, the moment I saw this title i knew I had to click. Genius Consider me a new sub, cause I'm hittin that button for this solid af idea lol
Yeah i've never seen that insta kill boss before, deleted peglin way before that. Thank goodness though, might have destroyed my pc if that shi happened to me😅
Maybe the reason you keep losing Peglin is because you keep making the same decisions. IE picking the confusion perk, it only buffs you when you have a negative effect. the other option you had to start with -2/-2 but increasing with every time a pegs gets hit is way more valuable. also picking the heal for 6 on reload and then stacking up on orbs just doesn't make sense.
Loving the roguelike roulette content Baer!! It's the perfect companion for my marathon homework binges.

One thing you're missing about crits in Peglin is that the crit pegs refresh after every attack. You never "waste" a crit.
Very Ralph Wiggum with that shopkeeper fight... I'm in danger!
I'm so used to playing Peglin at 2x speed it loos weird at 1x lol. Loving Roguelike Roulette!

I like a good challenge but I don’t play Peglin anymore because of that level 2 boss. I was like 2-10 against him when I deleted it from my phone.
I really don't like Peglin, I've yet to win or lose a run where I felt like I had any agency in what happened besides the direction I went on the map.
