Great video!! I got a quick question: When you use different prop firms and they have different brokers how are you handling that? You have a master account and when that trade opens it will open market order on the slave accounts and close when TP or SL is hit on the master account? because limit orders won't work as prices are different.. thanks in advance!
Exactly! :D I don't copy pending orders, SL or TP. So the slave trade is market executed when the master PO is triggered and the slave trade closes within a few milliseconds of the master trade closing.
If i have a pending order in my master account so will it be executed on my slave account even ive not turned on copy pending orders?

Yo Griff! Do you know if you have two different sized accounts setup and you were to manually take partials on the master, would it take take the equivalent sized partial on the slave?
Yes exactly :) if you close 60% of the position on your master, it will close 60% of the position on your slave

Are you able to copy in different proportions? Assuming I have 2 accounts of different size, I open 1 lot on the larger account and I want the smaller account to copy the trade but with a 0.01 lot size instead. Does that work?
Yes you can put a custom risk setting on each slave account.

You can calculate a completely custom lot size on each slave account 👍
How can one trade his personal as master and trade the copier . For example if I have 1k and want to risk 100$ on it how can I make that 1% on my prop and personal

You can just use Balance Multiplier at 100% :)
Hai Griff. Thank you for this video. So much information i got here. I have some questions i would like to ask.
1. Does Trade Connect can set all accounts with same IP? Because some of prop firms dont allow multiple IPs. I want to trade all my own accounts from prop firms on same phone (1 device only) and currently im using same home wifi as well.
2. I have different size of accounts under my own name. I have 10k account 100k account & 200k accounts. Each account i already calculated specific lot size and it maintain the whole trading. Does it mean i have to choose fixed lot size on copy trading setting?

1. You can buy a private IP, otherwise you'll be using an IP shared by other Traders Connect users.
2. They have loads of risk settings, you can read about them here: docs.tradersconnect.com/trade-copier/risk-types

They're working on DX Trade, it will be ready in around 1-2 weeks.
Hey man! Thanks for this video! Quick question, does the trade copier give off the same IP address for all the accounts(assuming all the accounts are in the same house/wifi source) meaning propfirms won’t claim you’re copying trades from different IP
I think they have like a big pool of IPs, so not everyone gets the same IP but there'll be at least a few dozen users on each IP. If you want a completely private IP you can purchase a Dedicated Environment from them.

When they mention $10 per account are they talking about in terms of the slave accounts as in the one master account then one salve account too ?
You have to pay $10 for the master account too, so the minimum subscription is $20 (one master and one slave)

You can open an account but there is no benefit to doing it early. You may as well wait for the prop firm to invite you.

I’d like to get a funding pips prop firm however the is a IP rule that’s mentions that’s the same IP address used to purchase and pass the evaluation stages should be the same as the live account so any suggestions on how to bypass the ip rule with traders connect ?

You can purchase a Dedicated Environment 👍 this will give you a private IP not used by any other Traders Connect users.
With a dedicated environment will I have to add both my broker (master account) and the funding pips one too (slave account)?
So with the dedicated environment does that mean I can still trade on TV and copy the trade to the funding pips account ?
Adding the slave is most important but adding the master as well helps (as it shows the Dedicated Environment IP alongside your local IP).
You'll be able to trade through TradingView if you're using an OANDA account. Atm you can only copy trades between MT4, MT5 and cTrader. Recommend contacting their support if you want more info.
It would be great if you could walk us through how to stop the copy to account from receiving any information you are running an EA. Like if I am in a funded account that does not allow an ea, how to set it up. Great video

Usually that's broker side - comes from a difference in broker pricing feeds. As long as the copier is executing quickly then it's doing its job perfectly

Yes you can partially close trades. If you close half the position, half the position will close on your slave etc

What if it's not half, what if it's 0.2 out of 1 lot size and the slave accounts are bigger and smaller sizes from the master account, how will it work??
If you close 20% of the master position it will close 20% of the slave position

Hi Griff. With the constant changes in the Prop Firm Industry and a lot of them now losing Metatrader, it would be interesting for you to show a video of the Trade Copier working cross platform, for example; showing MT5 as the Master account and multiple cTrader and DXtrade slave accounts. Is that possible?? Or is it possible to at least show it working with cTrader whilst Traders Connect is still implementing the DXtrade usability. ??? Thank you

They're the fastest copier, any difference in entry/exit prices usually comes from a difference in broker pricing feeds.

Do you guys have an issue with how much you lose on the accounts that you copy the trade?
Let’s say I risk 2% on the master account, I’ve seen that if I lose a trade the loss on the slave will be -2.3% instead of 2%
Anyone knows why that happens?

Yes - if you're using OANDA. As they connect to TradingView with Metatrader credentials

Yes, but OANDA are the only ones that allow you to connect with Metatrader credentials. Traders Connect only allows copying between MT4/MT5 accounts. Using OANDA is just a workaround
Im using this broker and this is what google says:
If you have an MT5 Standard Account then your TradingView Access will use the exact same credentials and access that you use now to trade with Eightcap.
Does this mean it will work for me?
sadly, their platform didn't work for my high frequency trading due to the disconnections.
HFT trading is impossible with any trade copier :) regarding their disconnections, they're back up and running again now
Only meta 4 & 5, there is no Trader locker platform
MT4, MT5 and cTrader. They'll add more platforms in the future.
