- After a devastating attack by Red Team, Tigz directs Blue Team to repair the base and begin plotting a new attack idea.
Space Engineers Outpost Wars is a 10v10 PvP Space Skirmish Battleground Environment. Each team has the goal of eliminating the other. This episode proves once again, that Castle is a Buzz droid given a human form.
Blue Team "Why have we lost power??" Castle meanwhile still on their ship for 20 mins straight "Guess who's taken control of the ship!!"
Immediately when Castle is near, the first thing I hear is "Kill him".

My god, those coil guns and the X-3 batteries made quick work of blue team's ships. Their planned assault failed as soon as it started. Also, it almost looks like the harbinger has even more guns on it than the base, so blue team is going to have a tough time killing it (even with their supposed "Vengeance Killer")
The legend of Castle continues to grow. From now on I expect blue team to have panic attacks whenever they hear a grinder start up.
Hmmm... i think i'll fire up SE tonight and Design a launcher/projectile System for the harbinger or smaller sized Ships, so Jack can deliver castle right into enemy bases or Ships savely.
Yeah, I think Castle's right about the health packs, it seems really stupid a ship can have that much damage done to it by a single person with a grinder, Mors says in it the guns are set to target biological, Castle shouldn't really have been able to get close, let alone get in, tear things apart and win a fight against multiple people that easily...
I wonder who will win blu, red, or castle with a grinder and inventory full of medic packs. My moneys on castle

Blue just does NOT have the capacity for war with their base having a literal hole in the back of it still. They rushed into a “revenge” attack and have ended up being clobbered and losing too much.
Blue team plans for the predictable, but the Reds are the UNpredictable, hence the Blues’ struggle.

Castle turn that blue destroyer into your ship you will make it a useful ship unlike blue team
I'd recommend a simple system of two motion sensors for each airlock: One for inside the ship, which closes the exterior airlock door, and pressurizes the airlock chamber when a character approaches the airlock from inside the ship, and one for the outside, which depressurizes the airlock, and closes the interior door when a character approaches the airlock from outside of the ship.
This setup does of course, necessitate a 3x3x3 block airlock with the center block kept either empty, or having the exterior motion sensor placed there, but it should be a fairly simple thing to set up, especially since the detection zones of motion sensors can be both changed and moved around.
Railguns are extremely powerful. Even reinforced showlds can struggle against them from what I read

regarding the discussion revolving around Irn-Bru starting at 4:50, I love that stuff, unfortunately the shipping costs to get it where I live are insane, but understandably so. For me, you have to ship it across the Atlantic, then truck it half-way across the states to the deserts of the Southwest.
I got a new idea for next series if possible, And the team can be between 2 or more.
The concept is Different Mining company compete in a planet to meet their quota in mining mineral, like make a daily quota for mining so the competition is in mining place for that mineral 😅

I am continously baffled by the lack of tactical finess shown by the blue team.
The plan to use decoy grids ahead wasn't half bad, but why just one of those? Have 20 of those, hell more and then come in behind with the grids that actually do the damage, not these half arsed meassures. Also aslong your production isn't running smoothly, why even bother with an attack? Why devide the team on these two tasks? Those sitting at home for repairing the damages, would maybe also want to take part in the action, that is counter productive to troop moral and also splitting forces while having offensive or defensiv action towards none military action doesn't make any sense at all if you really wanna go after the enemy. So first get your production going, then have your team in full force engage with the enemy.
Is this so hard to grasp? I hardly see any tactical combat games where these principles wouldn't be the same.
Red team on the other hand. The tactical approach of jumping, shooting, jumping shooting, i like it. It may seem to some like a training vid, but this is how you have to constantly engage in a certain way to get an effect you are aiming for. You leave this way the enemy trying to readjusting their targets and target focusing becomes harder for them (especially as they do not call out targets anyways, something both teams seem have to have issues with and should be trained as well).
Red team could have also waited a little longer till blue team is closer to the base so the full effect of the stationary weapons would hit blue team, for that time, maybe get the ships on the opposite site of the base or at a collection jump cordinate where you wait till you engage shortly after.
blue team basicly has thrown away now two destroyers(light cruiser). Not sure what they still have left, but red sure can salvage those now to finish their two main ships which seems to be a (ligh)t cruiser which got fairly battered and a battle ship, right?
If red just stays its course, gets those frames up and running, they sure as hell have a force that may take down the enemy base. Those there too, i wouldn't mind to see decoy grids paired with maybe drone carriers or missile cruisers first softening up the base before they go close and when they go close,(after having softenend up the base) then the big ship first with PDs focusing on players denying any movement while taking out their guns. Well or just send your one man walking panic attack with med packs back in ^^ that sure made them shit their pants last time.

@@Orionmatrix2015 So when you watch things for consumption, should those be of high or low quality? In my view, in that sense high quality means also good tactics and some at least coherent and inherent logic actions. I did mention the efforts they made with the decoy grid as a good effort, they just didn't scale it high enough as i also mentioned. So i would agree with your argument, if i hadn't made cunstructive criticism by pointing out the good efforts of blue team and how they could improve while having also pointed out what i did not like. Therefor sofar i am rather unimpressed by the points you are trying to make.

Finding balance can be hard to be honest, especially without just having one team do sod all.
