I was expecting tropes like Cancer brides crying on their wedding day and them being okay with a backyard wedding since it's homely (which btw both things perfectly wonderful!), but this really got me. How did she know I want to go museum hopping for my potential dream honeymoon, would probably want to hand make something for each guest, and would be possibly want sacred tattoos with my love??

Cancer bride-to-be here, and I did indeed want a much, MUCH smaller wedding! But, I let my parents and in-laws twist my arm into a bigger bash. Also into a more expensive dress...and a bigger, nicer cake...and a higher end caterer...and more bridesmaids...and real flowers instead of silk flowers off of amazon...and a proper dj...and a proper officiant instead of a family member......basically, they twisted my arm into having a nice, normal wedding instead of my usual trailer trash corner-cutting tendencies lmao 🤣
But as a cancer, that's also fine! I'm happy to have my whole family there, and it'll be more momentus and elegant, which also suits my taurus groom-to-be.

Aquarius but no way I could.do vegan lol...the rest was pretty spot on 🤣 I married a Sagittarius/Scorpio cusp. But we were young and broke back then so the wedding was much more basic than what we would do nowadays! I mean it was still extra af but on a budget level 🤣 we included so many things in the ceremony I'm sure people were like wtf are they still doing up there isnt it over yet lol...we had like a sand art blending thing with our son, an Irish knot tying ceremony to bind us together, a song lyric reading, non-religious vows and our officiant lady wore the most gorgeous robes with flower and butterfly embroidery, my dress had some color and sparkle, got married in a rose garden and customized/DIYd all the decor, made my own bouquet with special charms to symbolize different things that were important to me...oh and I was like 7 months pregnant lmao. Not a shotgun wedding! We just initially planned to have a baby first n wait a yr or 2 old to get married and then when I was pregnant I was like but nvm I wanna get married now, so we did 🤣 going on 14 yrs married now, almost 18 yrs together!
