I started temperature stitching (Jenn the Caffeinated Stitcher) but added your cash incentive program to it. I started at the beginning of December, to see if it would be a good match, and I have to say it was! I started on a low stitch count of 50x's per temperature, knowing that when spring (planting), summer(gardening), fall(preserving) hits, my counts would go down and it would harder to meet my goals. I also gave myself lee-way to progress as many stitches as I felt willing to put into my stitching. Some of my goals are for 1000x's and some are for finishes. 7 1/2 weeks in and I have already accomplished 10 goals. ( Meaning in my terms $50). As of right now half way into week 8 i should have 2800x's and I have now accomplished around 6500x's so far on 10 different projects. I have not done this in yearly total in several years. Between You and Jenn the inspiration is astronomical and I hope to keep continuing in this manner. So keep doing what your doing! Its making me stitch more! Loving every minute of it! I know the money is mine and already available (but I am very cheap and have a hard time spending on my hobby), so this gives me an incentive! Like you said previously about this, I can probably find the change around the house if needed. My husband is on board with this and he even pulls from his pocket money to help fill my canning jar. I know his thinking is $5 no big deal it will save me a $200 expenditure at the end of year! I hit him up 3 times in 3 days for $5! I'll give him a break after this and pull from my piggy bank if needed, but 3 goals in 3 days! How Amazing! Keep Inspiring!
Congratulations on accomplishing your WIPGO goals! That’s amazing. You really are a speedy stitcher. That’s wonderful. I love full coverage but don’t stitch nearly that much. I love that you use those stamps to make needle minders. How creative! Your daughter’s artwork is lovely and I think they will be very cool cross stitches! That will be quite the adventure for you to convert them to charts. Wish you good luck! Thanks for sharing your stitching journey. Happy stitching and stay well!
Hello from Delaware USA! I am a new subscriber. I just found your channel yesterday, and what a joy it has been watching several of your videos. I am a bit under the weather so I watched your WIP parade and your three January updates. Beautiful stitching and enjoyable chats! I really like your idea of paying yourself with cash after you reach your WIPGO goal. Fun fact: I am also 48, turning 49 this year, and 50 in 2026. Take care and happy stitching!
Your enthusiasm is great to see Emily and very infectious 😁. Love your sparkly vinyl! I am using my flossmas project bag for my lunchtime car project and it makes me smile when I pull it out on these grey January days. Safe journey and happy stitching 🧵 Emily

Am also in Cumbia and agree 100% with you re the sunlight, never been so looking forward to spring. Good luck on your drive, hope storm Eowyn doesn't affect you.
Emily, how absolutely amazing you are! I am unable to stitch this month and probably the next 2 as we are packing up, cleaning thoroughly and getting ready to move across the U.S. to live. I stitch vicariously through you. If I have a few minutes, I'm exhausted! I left 2 projects out that go with me - just in case- 😂 but so far, not a chance at all. Thank you for being so wonderful, you are so amazing! May you have a superlative week!!!!
Wow Emily, you really have got things clear in your head(thats not darogative). Its good to see you settled and enjoying stitching again, and saving at the same time👍 Have a safe journey there and back, i've got a vision of you diving into Dunelm lol. Stay safe🤗
Amazing progress! Red is really lovely, I have liked this piece for a while and keep thinking i should purchase but then I remember all the other WIPs I’ve got! Safe travels, have a great week x
Loved seeing your progress this month. You are a stitching wiz managing so many stitches. Safe journey taking your daughter back to uni. Hope you find some Dunelms with sparkly vynel on your way back.
You are all kinds of Amazing. What a great job you did getting all those stitches in. You inspire me to count but I don't have the drive to keep it going. Maybe next year.
First class stamps at 24p date back to around 1996 I think, maybe as late as 97. I was working in a post office when we went from 25p to 26p, and I got loads of quite aggressive complaints from people buying stamps who objected to a penny increase. I try to avoid post offices if I can, too many traumatic memories 😂 Well done on your stitching and good luck on your Dunelm hunt. Edit: I was way out… 1991 & 1992.
I keep getting interrupted & have started your video over 3 times, because I want to fully listen to what you’re saying….You are my favorite person….also, I am not domestic 😂
