The difference between pastors today and the disciples who set the laws for the early church was, like Jesus, they never asked for money. Today the first thing you hear is, “Give us your money.” Buy the materials, go into debt, and build the church. And when it is all paid off sign the property over to us. And then keep paying tithes. A church is a business. It is in partnership with the government. Why does the church say nothing about the government’s injustices, the crimes they commit? They are silent ... bought with money.
If it is this guy i just like before i listen. Powerful 👏

Hebrews chapter 12 not 11 where it says ... therefore, since we're surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses
Jesus was NOT led into the wilderness by the devil.
Matthew 4:1 (KJV) "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil".
Mark 1:13-14 (KJV) "And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.".
Luke 4:1-2 (KJV) "And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil."
Notice here the Spirit being referred to in the above verses is the Holy Spirit (i.e capital S), contrary to the following verses when referring to a lesser spirit (i.e small letter s) which is not the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:16 (KJV) "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."
Ephesians 2:1-2 (KJV) "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience."
Thankful for the message and the efforts to record Melvee! Kind request, please don't add Ads to a sermon. It's really interruptive and inappropriate. We know it's for finance sake but surely there's a way to have the Ads somewhere without His Word being mixed with world stuff.

You are very analytical dear sister Jesus was led by the Holly-Spirit into the wilderness not by the Devil. Maponga preaches but his problem is he is pompous and he uses personal knowledge or what i would like to term personal wisdom and a lot of people do not know about this

After ALL has been said and done, let us read scripture as it and from many version. Maponga just reiterated what is in the BIBLE without adding anything on it.

Don't put things which are not in the Bible, there is no evidence in the scriptures that Christ was led by the devil to the desert. The devil found Him there. Don't even justify the false teaching of this man.
Hi Melvee. Your ministry is much appreciated. We understand to run such a ministry is not free and requires financial resources, but to have multiple ads in between the sermon is really a distraction. It is no different than a cell ringing in church during a sermon, the user answering it and having a loud 10 sec conversation. I suggest having the ads before the sermon starts and after it ends.

Forget about building a church. Meet at each other’s homes. Like the early church. Jesus didn’t ask for funds to buy a stand. He could have asked the rich young ruler to donate his money for a stand, to build a church. Instead he told him to sell his buildings and distribute the money to the poor. Was Jesus wrong, misguided?
How many years ago did Jesus say those words? We don't live in the past but we tally with technology. God lives in human beings not in the past. Don't get trapped in history.
