For locs info and advice , thanks again,
Great information, I just started my locs. I am one month in, and I can tell some of my locs had locked. I will take all this information to heart.
I would be interested in hearing from your friend who is dermatologist
So I noticed you mentioned what to do if you have dandruff BEFORE getting locs, but what about if you already have locs and experiencing this. You mentioned sea breeze or witch hazel. Can I use that with locs
Yes! Check out my recommendations here: ua-cam.com/users/shopcollectionSCUCRaVcpuDzZr83RUPcYGFVC-8PX0NvyuGdw?si=T7FBlBrLHPnhFcPG
I work out a lot, sweat in my scalp which causes it to flake. Sugar isn't the issue. I knew going in that I would have to wash my hair weekly.
This was my biggest concern with starting my two strand twists. I’ve always struggled with dandruff and dry scalp. I’ve seen a dermatologist and they prescribed ketoconazole shampoo. Can I still use that for my washes?
Yes, and you should! 🙌🏾 you can also try head and shoulders and see if it works for you
I have a question, Is it a good idea to get locs with a lil damage in your hair or should you cut the damage first?
Question; I have locs already and I have very bad dandruff buildup, I have been to dermatologist and she did nothing. What can I do to improve my scalp?
You give very detailed and excellent advice. I've had my locs for 20 years and as soon as i cut out sugar and ate more vegetables i stopped suffering from dandruff.
