The highest form of self government is a bang, the voice of the Holy Spirit. That was the government in the Garden gods voice. It was what Eve made light of. So a lot of people can be self governed for selfish gain, and very self disciplined that in itself is not a means to an end of holiness. Follow peace and holiness by obeying God‘s voice not by extreme self government.
