(edit): just realized i forgot to show the total cost of mining operation level 27 as it doesn't show it all on screen. it costs 100 of every ore excluding event ores, kappa, stone and symmetrium also it excludes these ores in the 100 where it actually costs; 1 Element V, 1 Ambrosia, 350 Dark matter, 200 antimatter, 3 million coins, 300 stellarite, 1000 frightstone, 200 const, 200 unobtainium

Instead of adding more upgrades to existing ones, make new base areas that can be upgraded like the speed giver or tool forge or anything would be fine with me
ive always wanted to get good in this game but the mining operation upgrades made me quit because the crazy ammount of stone, also congrats on completing the upgrades!
I get that, the stone upgrades are Very tedious to do maybe try again, ask for trades too. Gl!

Speaking of max upgrades, does having max upgrades soften ores a bit? This is a weird thing to say but I feel like this may be somewhat true. The boost is only by 6 percent more strength but it feels like way more than that. Not only that but I have tested how long I could mine Serendibite with Constellatium pickaxe and with the ray gun and it took me 9 seconds. Constellatium max strength is 1137.5. A long time ago, I mined Serendibite with 1800 strength and Newt and it took me 10 seconds. Then somebody told me that it could just be a change in the scale in the mines as you get deeper, which I believed. However, that's when I decided to test it with a friend of mine. My friend was using Newt pickaxe and he had a strength of 1170 with it. It took him 16 seconds to mine the Serendibite. I really need an explanation now. Not only this but I also tested a pickaxe with a weaker strength and managed to go a further distance while still instant mining stone. I don't understand how this makes sense. Just imagine if you use a pickaxe and have around 400 strength and you can instant mine stone longer than you can instant mine stone with somebody with 500 strength. It just doesn't make any sense at all. Any thoughts?
Well I mean it’s not impossible that the strengths have been changed a small amount but I doubt it. It’s probably just the research and dev boost but tbh I’m not 100% sure. U are right tho with const seren seems weirdly faster.
Indeed it is. The issue with this is that the mining strength on the left of the screen is that it just does "1 + .05x" where x is the research level. The formula for the strength is pick power * rank (add up all of the mining boosts of the rank + all the ones before it) * research level (using 1 + .05x) * 10. However, in the actual code its not "1 + .05x", its actually "1/(1 - .05x)", which turns the function from linear to rational. This is fine at low values like level 1 where with the incorrect one the boost is 1.05x and with the actual one it is 1.0526x but the higher the research level gets the more distorted it becomes. When the game was released the max research level was level 8 which would be 1.4x to the incorrect one but in reality it was actually 1.67x. So the max strength with mithril pick and rank deity with R&D level 8 was 1008, when it is corrected with the proper formula it's real strength is actually 1200. Fast forward a year and a half and we get 2 new levels of research, a new rank and the newtonium pickaxe. Max strength is now 1800, but corrected it is actually 2400. This means that the strength didn't go up by 78.6% it actually doubled. Now fast forward again to nuclear winter, where we are introduced to *3* new research levels, which bring the innacurate strength up to 1980. But in reality it actually went up to 3429, which is not a 10% bump in speed that most people assumed, but a whopping 43%. Now with this current update that added 2 more research levels and the prom pickaxe, the max strength went up to 2275, when in reality the new strength is 5200 with the corrected formula. Not a 15% increase but a 51% increase in mining speed. I'm really hoping foxy stops here because I don't think he realizes how OP research is getting. BTW, if you let it go to level 20 it just completely breaks and you can instamine everything. Basically people would use moonstone pick for everything at that point because it does not make sense to use anything else. Hey man nice job I have to ask what is the best way to get all of your stuff I am stuck on coins and don't know if there is an easier way is there?
For the coins u need to upgrade your market as much as you can and you will start to see newt, dragonglass, painite, for coins. they ask for roughly 3 of any of those and in return give roughly 50k coins which is a really good deal. To increase the amount of market trades you get you can leave and rejoin the game which will automatically restore the market place. Gl!

Funny how you can buy pickaxes without being the same base operation for example im base operation 15 and i have bought constellatium and promethium pickaxes edit: bought the hammer on accident, what a waste :(

Edit: I just figured it out and wow it's way easier than i thought, all you have to do is click on the pickaxe on the mining operation level that you haven't reached yet, and if you have the materials you will get it.
