Lyrics:
well, I know you can't work in fast food all your life
but don't sign that paper tonight, she said,
but it's too late.
And I don't remember what I read,
don't remember what they said,
I guess it doesn't matter,
I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
you're gonna go to the record store
you're gonna give 'em all your money
radio plays what they want you to hear
they tell me it's cool but I just don't believe it...
sell out, with me oh yea, sell out, with me tonight
record company's gonna give me lots of money
and everything's gonna be (all right).
No one can steal my wallet cuz i have a walletchain
Or maybe because there's nothing in it
I lost it! It’s okay, I only had $15 in it.
Is it okay to keep all your retirement money on you at all times?

Ska defines me as a person and I will never turn my back on ska
This band and Mighty Mighty Bosstones are by far my favorite Ska bands. The sudden rhythm changes from fast to slow, then incoming horn section with reggae styled rhythm guitar behind the horns makes it appealing to me and I'm not sure why. It just puts me in a good mood.
@@poppyalmanzar3234 Yeah, NOFX. Eat the Meek. Perfect example of a ska band that can be totally reggae if they wanted to. Better than Jake is another band like these who I've just been introduced to. "The Art of Selling Yourself Short".

Still remember when these guys came to my home town. They refused to play outside in a light rain. The crowd grew angry. They spray painted "Real Big F*****s" on the side of their bus. Good times.
They were just trying to find their chain wallets they lost
So glad he signed that paper that night
This is actually a really sad song when you pay attention to the lyrics. Especially the last verse:
"Baby don't you sign that paper tonight she said but i cant work in fast food all my life"
His girl basically tells him not to sign the contract because she knew the record company would ruin his passion for music and he could find another way to be successful but he dismisses what she says because he doesnt want to work at a dead end job his entire life (possibly because he loves his girl and wants to provide a good future for her which explains why he constantly mentions theyre gonna give him alot of money and has to reassure himself that everything will be alright)
Had a dream last night that i was at a festival and met these mofos. They played this song first and added verses that painfully explained everything. Twas lit af but still kinda sad
I think the lyrics could be better. The instruments definitely sound better than the lyrics in this song. It would have been better as an instrumental than what they came up with.
Joe Mama oy vey shut it down
The song is literally just about making fun of the old fans who got mad when they signed to a label.
Yeah no shit. Once record labels get involved you’re automatically fucked.
Met these guys in germany at a show like 20 years ago. They were cool af and all signed my heineken hoody I was wearing. I was like damn now I cant wear it anymore so they gave me a free one from the merch booth. Still got it and will never forget how nice they were.
