I have a partner about the banner everyday banner would give 1 meta unit and that unit is either erwin or meta knight konan something like that and dont spend your gems when you dont have 2700 gems they would just waste thats my life lesson about this game
When netero dropped as final unit of hos update i had 5367 gems, plenty to get him with pity. Joined a server and summoned without paying attention, 2700 gems later i get a killua. Hop into private server and spend last of gems and dont get him. Ended up having to buy a gem pack

the pity system saves you now, so uh, no more dumping 5k into a banner and not getting the 5 star you want
