Wow they literally just stripped out all of the good technology . It is not even a tank of the future anymore they are just making a new modern tank . Might as well just stick K2 . They should have kept the more advanced design /chassis with am of that stealth like PL 01 . They went worse with the armaments . The 130mm was already lazy but now they have gone to 120mm . Then they went with diesel ? They were supposed to go with hydrogen fuel cells . In fact now they ditched the laser pdw as well and went with boring remote control station for machine guns . Well without hydrogen fuel cells they would have nothing to power their laser pdw anymore . In fact I was saying they should have etc guns instead of 130mm or with . This 120mm update better be etc . The vehicle is supposed to be lighter faster and perform better but it has the potential stats as k2 , at 55 tons , or any tank .Why I am disappointed is because Hyundai / South Korea has all the access to resources and technology as a western + entity / country and they have the time , by the 2030s all these advanced technology they should have should be there by then and they still did a shirt job as opposed to other countries around the world .
