Hence why I have to put a disclaimer at the beginning of any heavily opinionated video. In todays world, so many people believe their opinion is the correct one, and they have no tolerance for what other people think. It's quite a shame really.
Yeah. I mean a lot of people’s opinions are entirely based on speculation, since very few of them will have visited all the American and European rides.
Coaster Studios I think this is why you are more hesitant to post Top 10 type of vids or Coaster Fights is because people can’t get over the outcome of it. People need to respect your opinion.
NO!!! ONCE I WENT TO A CARNAVAL, AND FOUND THIS ROLLER COASTER CALLED KIDDY COASTER!!! It was soooooo fast and intense. It reached a top speed of like TWO miles per hour!!
Living in Sweden, you just made me want to pay Kolmården a visit for the first time in over 10 years, just to ride #3 on your list. Thank you so much! I had no idea that I had this hidden gem within our own borders.
I rode steel vengeance today and I honestly was never left speechless from a roller coaster until that ride. It was hands down THE best roller coaster I have been on BY far!
When they built Wildfire, I think it was the first woodencoaster outside USA with inversions. That's quite cool. But later these wooden coasters have been built around other places then USA and Sweden. So yeah, it is a bit impressive I say.
@John Lorton Indeed, and yes further info is gathered. First woodencoaster with inversions built in Sweden outside USA, and the name is Wildfire. :) Never went on that one. Well, got backproblems so it seems I can't go rollercoasters any more. :(
Good ranking , Steel Vengeance is the most insane , remarkable coaster I have ever experienced. The air time is unequaled, on most of my rides I was out of my seat the entire time . Simply jaw dropping . I was speechless
I just got back from Cedar Point where I rode Steel Vengeance twice!! So good! When you're waiting in line for it and watching the coaster go by, you can literally see everyone grinning as they ride it, it's so much fun.
Taylor you always do a TREMENDOUS job listing coasters in videos, and this was one I've waited for for a long time so THANK YOU! I really hope to get on steel vengeance soon, because I hear from everybody that it's amazing! Thank you again!
As a teenager I was obsessed with rollercoasters but somewhere along the lines I lost interest. I'm now binge watching your vids and remembering the excitement for it all. At 34 I feel it's time to get back into it all. Your channel is fantastic and has helped me get in touch with a past I had forgotten about.
Really impressive list! It's a blast watching so much coaster amazing cinematography (in both quantity *and* quality) along with your usual engaging narration 🤩
We finally got the list! Some these rankings surprised me a little, but it's those differences and diversity of personal preferences that make this community so great. Thanks for sharing!
Taylor, thank you so much for including Phantom’s Revenge on your list. People in Pittsburgh don’t know how good they have it, having such a fantastic ride right in their backyard.
You know, what I always really liked and still like about your videos: you always say it's just your opinion. You let there be space for people to disagree and maybe to debate. Probs for you man!
X2 still on the list! Hurray! Also, hurray for Lightning Rod beating Fury! By releasing this video, you've satisfied a lot of excited fans. Great list Taylor!
Such a well-done video; the quality of the footage, editing, and the hard work (not to mention your personal research by riding over 600 roller coasters) put in the commentary really make us coaster enthusiasts appreciate your effort in creating such great Coaster content
Saw the video for outlaw run last summer and we were going to Branson for vacation. Went on it with my aunt who loves roller coasters as my first upside down ride. I actually really enjoyed it! I saw it on one of the train things that take you around the park and it was absolutely ginormous compared to the video. I started to have second thoughts but then I manned up and told myself I was going to do it and I wasn’t going to die if I rode it. I can say the anticipation and the fear involved were 10 times worse the roller coaster itself. My point is, roller coasters are supposed to be scary. Don’t be afraid to ride them because they are actually fun if your not freaking out the whole time.
He does one a year, or sometimes even skips a year. It's extremely hard to rank coasters once you've ridden over 200 roller coasters. Even at my coaster count of 101, it's super hard to rank them. I cant even imagine how hard it must be to rank your favorite coasters out of over 700 rides.
Im going to ride these roller coasters throughout my life. Ive always hated coasters, but recently road Ghost Rider, and im here to say it was an awesome experience.
I rode the back left side of Skyrush in 2018. The experience was so intense that it literally pinched a nerve in my neck and I immediately had excruciating pain in my neck, shoulder, and arm that lasted for 6 months. While I rarely experience pain anymore, my doctors say the only way to fix the problem is with surgery. All that being said, despite the pain I rode it 3 more times the day it happened. NO PAIN NO GAIN!
@@jasonbaylor9865 well duh its incredible. it's one of my favorite coasters. But it wasn't in his last top 25 and hes ridden a lot of coasters since then, so he must have had some great rides on it
The culmination of an extraordinary season of fantastic videos Taylor. Thank you so much for your passion and sharing it with us. I hope you realize that what you do truly makes people happy. So proud of your journey to what you have become...a remarkable young man.👍👏. #Steel Vengeance number one...woohoo!!
Out of all these rides, I've only been on one, the Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and I absolutely love it. I'm happy to see that you, someone who rides roller-coasters all over the world put it in your top 10!
Wow I've been waiting for this video from the time I was planning to go to cedar point (obviously rode ride steel vengeance when I was there) which was half a year ago 😂
I've been on the Lighting Rod more than I can count because I live 30 minutes away from dolly wood, and funny story: About a month ago I went on this with some friends and one of their phones flew off the ride. Ah, good times...
I just rode steel vengeance two weeks ago and I can say it was the most intense coaster I've ever rode. Maverick is another good one. My son actually passed out on the Maverick. But ended up want g to ride it again. He did amazing for his first time riding coasters. HIS FIRST EVER WAS THE MILLENNIUM FORCE! LBVS
So happy that Dollywood made the list!!! You don't know how jealous I am that you have ridden the Lightning Rod. I've been to the park 3 TIMES in the last 4 years and STILL haven't gotten to ride it. I'm the ultra-rare breed that prefers wooden coasters over steel, too, so that is just icing on the cake of *RAGE* burning in my soul lol It's ironic because I love coasters to death, but Friday when I go to Six Flags St. Louis will only be the 3rd park I've ever been to. Went to Holiday World in 8th grade (almost 4 years ago, will be two days after I graduate omg), LOVED the Voyage. Was my first time ever riding coasters so I didn't ride the Thunderbird, one of my greatest regrets. I went to Dollywood as our 9th grade class field trip, loved the Flying Eagle and especially Thunderhead. I love wooden coasters, especially the kind that bash you around and punish you for making them exist. Went back to Dollywood two years ago on fall break, rode the Thunderhead 4 times and loved it again, the other coasters twice each. I love every coaster at Dollywood; I know a lot of people will hate me for that, but the park holds a special place in my heart being that I live in Tennessee and it's so beautiful. Finally, last October I went to Dollywood yet again for our senior class trip. Rode the Thunderhead 7 times in a row which was awesome, though I ached for a couple days after (best pain ever, so worth it)!!! Fascinated by your channel. I know you probably don't care about my story and won't ever even see this comment. However, I figured I'd write it for some person who scrolls by and wants a good read about an otherwise uninteresting coaster enthusiast's life.
Isn't it interesting how only a few years ago, it was on almost everyone's top 25 list? Then again, it's a Mack multi-launch, which don't really fit Taylor's preference for forceful launches
As someone who lives in norcal and is a part of ACE Norcal, it blows my mind to see both Gold Striker and Railblazer make this list ahead or just behind some legendary coasters such as geforce or phantom's revenge. The development of RailBlazer was really something special to be close to and I've always had a special place in my heart for gold striker as it was my first 100 footer, and this is coming from someone who was freaked out by California Screamin' (got 3rd to back first time on striker, so you can imagine what that was like lmao). Excellent review and enjoyed guessing where wildfire would be.
• Cheiseld • how? So many coasters have exact same elements? And how do you determine for sure weather you enjoyed coaster 341 more than 342? It’s all memory... so... kinda impossible
• Cheiseld • as of 2019 he has rode more than 700 coasters, naming all of them is hard enough, actually ranking them is impossible. It would be a waste of time to do that. The most he will do is maybe 50 coasters once he has reached 800 coasters and maybe 100 when he has reached 1000
Amazing video! We seem to have similar opinions. I have all of the roller coasters I've ridden on this list in almost the exact same order. I love a good unbiased list to really see what roller coasters really stand above the rest, and this list does exactly that. Really interesting to see El Toro rise above I305 and Fury, which you have ranked higher in the past. Anyway, keep the content coming Taylor!
Silver Dollar City is my home park so I'm very happy to see Outlaw Run as your #11! I'm very surprised out of the 600+ coasters you've ridden out there that a park/ride so near and dear to me is so high on your list. Outlaw Run is definitely the best ride in the park but you make me think it might be one the best coasters in the world! Awesome to hear :)
awesome sauce I went to grad school in Cleveland. A bunch of us would always head to Cedar Point early in the season when it was easy to ride the coasters over and over again. Honestly, I still have a soft spot in my heart for Blue Streak. :-)
There's nobody more sensitive than a coaster fan boy. Solid list this Taylor. Quite a lot of my top 25 in here too although you've done a few parks I haven't done. Definitely makes me want to visit them.
@@Jackrabbit7 lol...Gatekeeper is good, but there is no way in hell it even comes close to Steel Vengeance, I'm sorry. Only thing better is that it's more rerideable because it has a shorter line.
YES!! Made me so happy that Mystic Timbers was on the list. Holiday World is my home park (30 minutes away) but Kings Island is the closest bigger park to me, and I’ve been there 5 times, with two trips last year
I usually always get tunnel vision at the end of the first drop going around on intimidator 305 but it’s still a MUST whenever I go to KD (my home park too!!)
I've only ridden 8 out of your 25 but since my ride on Twisted Colossus was dueling, I put it above Steel Vengeance. Such a unique and surreal experience.
I very much respect your opinion. I personally love B&M because of reliability but I see why people love RMC and Intamin as well. I like big drops on coasters that feel long, intensity, reliability, airtime, and adrenaline. This summer, I will be getting new credits like Iron Rattler, Voyage, Thunderbird, Mystic Timbers, Lightning Rod, Phantom’s Revenge, Wonder Woman, Steel Eel, Superman Krypton Coaster, and Storm Chaser. However, as of right now, here’s my top 25 1. Fury 325- Carowinds 2. Steel Vengeance- Cedar Point 3. Leviathan- Canada’s Wonderland 4. Lightning Rod- Dollywood 5. Superman The Ride- Six Flags New England 6. Intimidator 305- Kings Dominion 7. El Toro- Six Flags Great Adventure 8. Millennium Force- Cedar Point 9. Diamondback- Kings Island 10.
Thoroughly enjoyed this list... especially since I had taken a break from your page for a while and was delightfully surprised to see former Coaster Studios villain X2 on the list! Great work.
It was honestly a treat seeing Wicked Cyclone on here !! It's in my home park and I feel its problems in 2018 really ruined it for some people. :[ I love it so much and I was pleasantly surprised seeing it so high up considering how many coasters you've been on !!
I rode the original steel phantom several times as a kid and teenager. It was a trip but was like riding a mechanical bike in a sense. It was not popular towards its later years so I rode it several times each visit (PR 24 times in one day). As a 37 YO with Army induced neck and back injuries, I would not like it. The new one is a much better all around ride and I'm just glad they didnt tear it down. Great video, thanks for putting this together!
All of their coasters are absolutely smooth and just a masterpiece. I love the wonky tracks that they have and I wish there were more of them. I can't wait until they release their Trex track. I heard the raptor was FANTASTIC. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but one I go to Fiesta Texas then I'll be able to. Lightning Rod is up there with Fury 325 as my absolute favorite coaster. Those bunny hills at the end of the ride literally lifted my shirt from my stomach. It was such a great ride with amazing airtime.
Sky rush was my first extreme rollercoster and I loved it so much. Can’t explain the smile on my face. Best ride ever. I’m very surprised it landed so high on the list since so many people dislike the restraints.

I cant wait for 5 days when I go to cedar point, I am so excited for steel vengence
Ooh same
Steel Cengaence and Maverick are my favorite coasters right now I completely agree with this list. Good Job!
I was expecting Helix from Liseberg to be on the list.
This would take forever but you should rank ever coaster you’ve ridden
• Cheiseld • how? So many coasters have exact same elements? And how do you determine for sure weather you enjoyed coaster 341 more than 342? It’s all memory... so... kinda impossible
• Cheiseld • as of 2019 he has rode more than 700 coasters, naming all of them is hard enough, actually ranking them is impossible. It would be a waste of time to do that. The most he will do is maybe 50 coasters once he has reached 800 coasters and maybe 100 when he has reached 1000
I did realize that but I just thought it would be cool
Man, I’ve only ridden 120 and I couldn’t do that!
It’s great to see your 25 top coasters and the reasons you have made sense. Excellent video
I’ve ridden wicked cyclone every year since it opened and it’s only ever felt slow once and that was a year or two ago
where is behemoth
Peter Stragapete what?
where is behemoth
Amazing video! We seem to have similar opinions. I have all of the roller coasters I've ridden on this list in almost the exact same order. I love a good unbiased list to really see what roller coasters really stand above the rest, and this list does exactly that. Really interesting to see El Toro rise above I305 and Fury, which you have ranked higher in the past. Anyway, keep the content coming Taylor!
Top 25 coasters in my opinion:
25: railblazer
24:x2
23:valravn

16:fury 325
15:maverick
14:gold striker
13:skyrush
12:mako
11:tatsu
10:dc rivels hypercoaster
9:twisted timbers
8:dopa dopa
7:iron rattler

5:nitro
4:el toro
3:steel vengeance
2:intimidater 305
1: lighting rod
You placed SV lower than I305??!! WOW! (I305 is my favorite)
Mine is:
10 Troy - Toverland (The Netherlands)
9 Wodan - Europapark (Germany)
8 Star Trek - Movie Park (Germany)
7 Nemesis - Alton Towers (England)
6 Blue Fire - Europapark (Germany)
5 Galactica - Alton Towers (England)
4 Black Mamba - Phantasialand (Germany)
3 The Smiler - Alton Towers (England)
2 Taron - Phantasialand (Germany)
1 Silver Star - Europapark (Germany)
P.s. Im not from Germany 😂
Fette Ecke Meh I really enjoyed it, but I guess all parts of the ride couldve been better, and thats why its lower
Fette Ecke After I visited Walibi Holland this weekend this top 10 changes a lot, Wodan drops out 🙃
Thank you for including Phantom’s Revenge. It is my favorite Roller Coaster
Great top 25 list! So worth it! Steel Vengeance is my new favorite coaster too! :)
i live in cleveland, around a hour and a half from cedar point. i only get to go once or twice a season, and i love steel vengeance
awesome sauce I went to grad school in Cleveland. A bunch of us would always head to Cedar Point early in the season when it was easy to ride the coasters over and over again. Honestly, I still have a soft spot in my heart for Blue Streak. :-)
After your trip to Japan, you should do a top 50!
The voyage kills my legs at the end with those bunny hills
I definitely like the diamondback and banshee more than mystic timbers at kings island.
There's nobody more sensitive than a coaster fan boy. Solid list this Taylor. Quite a lot of my top 25 in here too although you've done a few parks I haven't done. Definitely makes me want to visit them.
Steel vengeance was the craziest ride I’ve ever been on hands down
Trevor clark Gatekeeper is better
@@Jackrabbit7 lol...Gatekeeper is good, but there is no way in hell it even comes close to Steel Vengeance, I'm sorry. Only thing better is that it's more rerideable because it has a shorter line.
YES!! Made me so happy that Mystic Timbers was on the list. Holiday World is my home park (30 minutes away) but Kings Island is the closest bigger park to me, and I’ve been there 5 times, with two trips last year
I can't wait for Steel Curtain to open at Kennywood.
0:33 luckily that ride is right next to where I live. It’s ok but honestly I prefer other ones.
This list is great, but ghostrider over twisted timbers and karnan? Those two should be higher IMO.
I usually always get tunnel vision at the end of the first drop going around on intimidator 305 but it’s still a MUST whenever I go to KD (my home park too!!)
I thought the smiler would make it! Great list tho
it almost did it just missed the top 25
I've only ridden 8 out of your 25 but since my ride on Twisted Colossus was dueling, I put it above Steel Vengeance. Such a unique and surreal experience.
Literally screamed YES FINELY
I very much respect your opinion. I personally love B&M because of reliability but I see why people love RMC and Intamin as well. I like big drops on coasters that feel long, intensity, reliability, airtime, and adrenaline. This summer, I will be getting new credits like Iron Rattler, Voyage, Thunderbird, Mystic Timbers, Lightning Rod, Phantom’s Revenge, Wonder Woman, Steel Eel, Superman Krypton Coaster, and Storm Chaser. However, as of right now, here’s my top 25
1. Fury 325- Carowinds
2. Steel Vengeance- Cedar Point
3. Leviathan- Canada’s Wonderland
4. Lightning Rod- Dollywood
5. Superman The Ride- Six Flags New England
6. Intimidator 305- Kings Dominion
7. El Toro- Six Flags Great Adventure
8. Millennium Force- Cedar Point
9. Diamondback- Kings Island
10. Nitro- Six Flags Great Adventure
11. Top Thrill Dragster- Cedar Point
12. Kingda Ka- Six Flags Great Adventure
13. Skyrush- Hersheypark
14. Apollo’s Chariot- Busch Gardens Williamsburg
15. Wicked Cyclone- Six Flags New England
16. Afterburn- Carowinds
17. Goliath- Six Flags Over Georgia
18. Maverick- Cedar Point
19. Copperhead Strike- Carowinds
20. Behemoth- Canada’s Wonderland
21. Twisted Timbers- Kings Dominion
22. Banshee- Kings Island
23. Steel Force- Dorney Park
24. Phoenix- Knoebels
25. Twisted Cyclone- Six Flags Over Georgia
Cedar Point is by farrr the most epic Amusement park!!
The wicked cyclone still rides very good in my opinion! Went on it about 8 times in the last 2 weeks. Still amazing! Glad to see it made the top 10!
Same my home park is New England as well I love riding it every year!
Taron! I love Taron. :D And I cant wait for the F. L. Y. a Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster
. :D Im so happy that Im from Cologne/Germany. :D
i like millenium force. i don’t like the crazy twisty jerky stuff. i like long fast smooth and sky high!
OMG SWEDEN? 3 PLACE? THATS AMAZING! I AM FROM SWEDEN AND IN JULY I AM GOING TO KOLMÅRDEN TO RIDE WILDEFIRE
Thoroughly enjoyed this list... especially since I had taken a break from your page for a while and was delightfully surprised to see former Coaster Studios villain X2 on the list! Great work.
When are we getting the top 10 worst list? curious.
I will not be doing a top 10 worst list.
@@CoasterStudios Respect x1000.
It’s because there are just going to be Blackpool pleasure beach coasters except from icon
@@CoasterStudios common bru I want to see a rollercoaster battle
Theme park Adrenaline infusion is really good imo lol
It was honestly a treat seeing Wicked Cyclone on here !! It's in my home park and I feel its problems in 2018 really ruined it for some people. :[ I love it so much and I was pleasantly surprised seeing it so high up considering how many coasters you've been on !!
You should ride the Hagrid coaster at universal, its AMAZING
AquaBob just rode it today, Dragon Challenge was way better even without the dueling
@@boatcaptainmike2398 this is more of a family coaster
Boat Captain Mike it depends in what ways. Hagrids was more in but dragon was for intense
Great list. But Taron in Germany on no.17??? In my opinion this coaster is under the best 5. The whole package of Taron is unique.
RMC just dominates this list!
RMC has become the king of coasters.
