And also when KABIR slapped PREETI, that slap WAS NOT CELEBRATED as if when the BOY WINS AND CONFRONTS HIS GF IN A LUV RANJAN FILM, the FILM had played a SAD TUNE SYMPATHISING WITH PREETI, and the film had shown her as a victim between her father and her lover. So the film is just showing PREETI'S HELPLESS STATE, and it is not GLORIFYING KABIR'S TOXIC BEHAVIOUR AT THAT TIME!!!!

Having said that I do not endorse his rude behaviour of slapping his girlfriend. The film sort of showed him to be going in a downward spiral after he slapped his girl, and towards the climax the film also had confronted him for his highly rude and impatient behaviour of not listening to preeti and slapping her. He is confronted by preeti, she said "6 ghante diye the naa tumne mujhe kabir, phir bhi mai aayi tumhare paas, ladkiyo ko ghar mei restrictions hote hai, par tumhe thodi na pata hoga because you dont have any sisters naa, tumne kaha thaa naa ki i curse you to get married to your father's choice! aisa hi huaa hai kabir!! get lost go fuck around jo karna hai karo".
And also when KABIR slapped PREETI, that slap WAS NOT CELEBRATED as if when the BOY WINS AND CONFRONTS HIS GF IN A LUV RANJAN FILM, the FILM had played a SAD TUNE SYMPATHISING WITH PREETI, and the film had shown her as a victim between her father and her lover. So the film is just showing PREETI'S HELPLESS STATE, and it is not GLORIFYING KABIR'S TOXIC BEHAVIOUR AT THAT TIME!!!!
