- This is what Splash Mountain was supposed to be, full story that makes sense, well lit, everything works, 4 drops, with the ending in the front so everyone can watch. It is perfect, I hope they never change this one.

So much love and care for this classic attraction. This is why Tokyo is leagues above the US parks. They actually have respect for Disney fans and the artistic value of these timeless works of art. I hope I can experience this version at least once.
I knew people would fly all the way here to do it
The best part is that it's not just ride here it's a whole land on Splash Mountain
I'm so super happy people are noticing this one
The whole area is gorgeous! The views on the ride were totally stunning at dusk when all the lights in the park were beginning to appear.
the animatronics probably fix themselves theyre so complex
I love Splash Mountain! It's my favorite Disney park ride! I'm sad that we have it in the US parks anymore. But I'm happy it's staying at Tokyo Disneyland and I can't wait ride it there!
It is far better than the one that was in California so this will make you very happy once you get to ride it.
@@yourparkhoppersIt looks better than the one that was at Disney World Florida too. It looks beautiful and well maintained.
@@princesspikachu3915 yea and the animatronics are way more fluent and cute
It’s the best version of the ride and the only one that remains. Someday I will make the pilgrimage to Tokyo Japan to ride the last Splash left.
Tokyo Disneyland is so good at maintaining their rides 😭 Everything is working and operating so good making the US parks feel so cheap…
Agreed! It's one third the price for a ticket in Tokyo, but everything was working. I will say the Disney Sea rides were pretty uninteresting, though.
The Japanese understand Walt’s vision for quality. Our culture doesn’t work that way anymore. You have to go to Japan now to experience Disney the way Walt intended it to be
@@rocketrodlover We just need to combine their quality of attractions and cleanliness with our food and weather.😄Why are there so few food choices?!
@@yourparkhoppersdisneysea rides uninteresting? But alan menken sinbad ride, going inside a volcano and seeing a lava monster, the last 20k leagues ride, etc. I guess that park's just not your cup of tea lol.
@@idk-zt8rx The Sinbad ride was definitely not our favorite and the song drove me kind of nuts. Absolutely no disrespect to Alan Menken, but the whole thing was bizarre. The journey to the center of the earth was GREAT, but the good part was way too short imo. Tower of terror was not nearly as wild, and we found most of the rides were not up to the lines that preceded them. I did love the creativity and beauty of mermaid lagoon.
You should go on Roger rabbit next
This is my favorite ride in tdl! I couldn't help but notice that you kept comparing this ride to california's. I found the california version so weird when I went on it after being so used to this version. It didn't really make sense that you can see matterhorn mountain in the final drop, but I like it! I really like going on tdl's splash during the winter and spring. Winter, because the park looks pretty in the snow and spring because of the flowers. The best part is the shorter waits and you don't even get wet! I visit quite often because tokyo's just a 3 hour flight where I'm from.
That's awesome. I think we'd find the snow a welcome sight after the crazy heat we endured. It was definitely the prettiest part of the park. We had only experienced CA Splash, which was always a bit weird, but our kids loved it. Glad to have experienced this full version so it all makes sense,
Thank you for sharing. That was so much fun.
thanks for watching, this was our absolute favorite of the entire trip.
Wish I was there.
Well, now you are...lol
Tokyo Disneyland's Splash is also located in Critter Country but it is themed to villages Texas and American Southwest like AZ and New Mexico instead of Louisiana bayou as in Anaheim Disneyland so the Princess Tiana ride fits the theming of Anaheim Disneyland's ride.
GREAT info! Thanks for your comment and for watching.
@@yourparkhoppers Yes the soundtracks of Tokyo Disneyland's Splash are using WDW ride style of country western rhythm with banjos and harmonicas.
This splash mountain isn't being closed down, right? Because if it isn't than this is the last splash mountain on earth essentially
So Tokyo Disneyland's Critter Country land is a Taco Tuesday and margarita earth instead of Mardi Gras earth as in California Disneyland.
I know it you are outstanding.
Brer rabbit is still in tokyo? (I mean him but as a character in the park)
As per a recent agreement between OLC and the Walt Disney Company, all Splash characters and music will only be used within the attraction and Critter Country. The characters no longer do greetings, appear in parades, have merchandise, etc. and the music is no longer played at the Park entrance or on the Disney monorail.
its confirmed this ones staying:)
good, it's perfect
Hopefully it sticks around for years to come. It's a Disney classic and deserves a permanent place in the parks. Period.
i can smell the water
lol, what do you mean?
@@yourparkhopperssplash mountain and other rides in the US disney parks have a distinctive moldy bromide smell.
Ojalá también la conviertan en una atracción de la princesa y el sapo como en California y Orlando
Nosotras hemos escuchado que sigue igual
Nope.
