At Georgia Grown Citrus, you'll hear us talking about 'Root Stock' quite often, but what exactly is root stock and why does it matter? Lindy explains in this video.
What the lady considers baby trees for sale, I consider Massive monsters as I have bought hundreds of citrus trees from many places. This seller has provided, BY FAR, the best bang for my buck. Best looking trees, Best genetics profile and branch density. SERIOUS roots.
Hey Lindy, I've watched a couple of your videos and have a question. When you grow a rootstock and graft a scion do you always chop the rootstock off near the soil? Could you take an 8 foot tall rootstock and put a couple scions on the trunk or upper branches? Thank you for your information.
I ordered a shiranui citrus tree after trying the fruit purchases from an orchard near Pelham, Ga . I’m growing in a container to get it sized up before planting in ground in Tifton , Ga . I don’t know what type rootstock it’s on . It did well this summer and put on a couple feet . I have been putting in garage when temps fall below freezing . Any advice you have for success with this tree would be appreciated.

We just got our trees in the mail, we're super excited! They are bigger than expected and healthy! Thank you so much!
Great video! Really informative!🍊
Love what you are doing 👍
Very nice video, I'm from Belgium and I have some new plants, successfully seeded 2 years ago.
Very interesting. I'm waiting on Frost owari satsuma to be available, would love to try it in 8b, north central GA
I will add that I ordered it from Georgia Citrus in Ocklocknee , Ga .
How do you propagate your rootstock? From seed, or from cuttings under mist, etc.?
What form of budding do you use? Thanks

Do you deliver trees to southern California?

Don’t you just hate when you ask the creator a question and they don’t even bother to answer you.
