No doubt Sooryagayathri 's version is beautiful. Pronunciation is excellent. But I don't if among the other versions you have heard the version sung by TMS in the movie Arunagirinathar. There's no comparison. But TMS ' version is timeless.

In my 74 years age I have heard and enjoyed many many musicians and classical singers since am a connosier of Art and music .I have been thinking for long time to pen valuable comments and compliments as am very much fan of Saraswathidevi born in the name of SURYAGAYATHRI in Purameri village ,vadakara. From the first rendition of her Ganesh pancharatna sththram used to hear enjoy ,but have become her ardent conossier after "Nagendra Haraya " no day will pass without hearing her at least five songs rendered. Due to change of Job to Chennai Airport then Kolkata, Guwahsti ,finally settled in Hyderabad, opportunity learn many languages especially Tamil classical, Hindi and Telugu , started writing few devotional songs or poetry including Malayalam and English Tamil Telugu and Hindi ( so far few only published and singing myself at times) I also tried to sing this Thirupukazh of great Tamil Poet "Arunagirinathan "Muthai Tharu " then one-day on 13 the Oct 2001 when I was travelling to Chennai from Hyderabad heard this song Sung by Great Singer TM S and after few minutes ,I wrote with same Rytham in Malayalam like this " Sakthi Shiva Bhaktha priyakara Nithyam thava Thathwam Mama manam, Saythyam Jayam mukhti pradakaram aThirunamam. Poet Arunagirithanar composed about 16k songs but only 1334 songs found , he composed all called Thirupugazh. He was unique in his songs coz he explain the gracefulness of Lord Murugan as Lord appeared twice in front of him to proof that the poet is indeed has special wisdom. One was when Arunagiri wanted to suicide after feeling guilty how badly be treated his sister for money. And pleasure. I have successfully trained many children with problems in speaking proper "Thamizh". To them, this "Thrruppugazh Verse" aided immensely. You yourself can see the many hard-to-utter twisting words giving apt exercise to the tongue. This "Thiruppugazh" is a verse, not a song, with intricate words and syllables interwoven into, in order to train one's tongue in the language skills. Stanza by stanza, practice patiently and by the time, you reach the eighth stanza, your tongue will be under Your control and mastery. After listening for the first time - I researched and listened to the same song by 6-9 singers including Ms. Chithra.
But not a single singer can even be compared what Surya has sung.

No doubt Sooryagayathri 's version is beautiful. Pronunciation is excellent. But I don't if among the other versions you have heard the version sung by TMS in the movie Arunagirinathar. There's no comparison. But TMS ' version is timeless.

In my 74 years age I have heard and enjoyed many many musicians and classical singers since am a connosier of Art and music .I have been thinking for long time to pen valuable comments and compliments as am very much fan of Saraswathidevi born in the name of SURYAGAYATHRI in Purameri village ,vadakara. From the first rendition of her Ganesh pancharatna sththram used to hear enjoy ,but have become her ardent conossier after "Nagendra Haraya " no day will pass without hearing her at least five songs rendered. Due to change of Job to Chennai Airport then Kolkata, Guwahsti ,finally settled in Hyderabad, opportunity learn many languages especially Tamil classical, Hindi and Telugu , started writing few devotional songs or poetry including Malayalam and English Tamil Telugu and Hindi ( so far few only published and singing myself at times) I also tried to sing this Thirupukazh of great Tamil Poet "Arunagirinathan "Muthai Tharu " then one-day on 13 the Oct 2001 when I was travelling to Chennai from Hyderabad heard this song Sung by Great Singer TM S and after few minutes ,I wrote with same Rytham in Malayalam like this " Sakthi Shiva Bhaktha priyakara Nithyam thava Thathwam Mama manam, Saythyam Jayam mukhti pradakaram aThirunamam. Muttum Thiru Vela Myla Nettikann udayon thanaya ,Chettum mura thettathadiyenn Vanangunen" Chitham nira muthupol murga , nruthyam thava roopam Nithyam thithithai thithithai thikrithai " and 8 more lines are there.In fact when I heard SURYAGAYATHRI' s rendition my eyes are flowing happy tears of Divinity , sincerity and dedication of little girl Surya.From heart of heart prat to the Almighty to bless to reach the Pinnacle of Glory as the world Class musician Live or centuries

Poet Arunagirithanar composed about 16k songs but only 1334 songs found , he composed all called Thirupugazh. He was unique in his songs coz he explain the gracefulness of Lord Murugan as Lord appeared twice in front of him to proof that the poet is indeed has special wisdom. One was when Arunagiri wanted to suicide after feeling guilty how badly be treated his sister for money. And pleasure.
Another time was when the king wasn't happy with his progress so he had competition with another poet, who can make the God appeared upon them while singing and when Arunagiri sang, with full love and devotion, lotd Muruga appeared upon him with so much beauty, glory, light and bliss till everyone became blind seeing it. He's indeed very versatile with his composition that we still sing his songs up to date

In fact this "Thruppugazh" itself was sung by "Sree Arunagiri Naadhar", upon the blessings from "The Lord Murugan". He was speech impaired at birth.
I am a teacher and Psychologist. I have successfully trained many children with problems in speaking proper "Thamizh". To them, this "Thrruppugazh Verse" aided immensely.
You yourself can see the many hard-to-utter twisting words giving apt exercise to the tongue.
This "Thiruppugazh" is a verse, not a song, with intricate words and syllables interwoven into, in order to train one's tongue in the language skills.
Stanza by stanza, practice patiently and by the time, you reach the eighth stanza, your tongue will be under Your control and mastery.
