We're in a New normal at the moment so I thought lets have a new vlog - Season 2 Dark Mode! haha. Same structure, just at night time so we can all hunker down and be cosy together!
In this episode I show off the Harry Styles Knitted Cardigan by JW Anderson. The Free pattern is further down. New Sock yarn from the West Yorkshire Spinners - Christmas Limited Edition 2020 and I get sewing and making lampshades! Links and all information down in the description.

Thanks so much! I’ve seen chain piecing and use the principle when I sew sometimes, but the way you did was a step beyond!
SoMuchToDo SoLittleTime first time I used the method and I was blown away. As you say - used to chain piecing but this method meant the whole quilt kept together and in order, even when sewing the rows together which was the final bit because it was all chain peiced it meant the rows were so much easier to sew (with pressed nested seams too) as the rows kept together more cos of the little chained pieced connections. I must have peiced it all in half hour. Best method - thanks to Donna of Jordan Fabrics. The wonders of UA-cam hey!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have been meaning to watch this sooner, but could never find the time. Finally, today I was able to sit down and enjoy this fabulous episode. I am so excited for the dark mode! It is so cozy! Beautiful projects, especially that lampshade, I loved seeing the process. I think it is time I treat myself to some of that Lavenham Blue yarn! 😊💖

I had to laugh at the introduction. Reminded me of an old show, maybe the 70's?, called Playboy After Dark. Good laugh. Another interesting vlog. Love the Yorkshire Spinners new Christmas yarn.
Lovely episode as usual and you look so cosy in your little shed. Who doesn't love a bit of sticky backed plastic??? Still not sure about the cardigan though, although I love how enthusiastic you are about it hehehe. Really like the lampshade and the top tip for turning that edge over, it does make a difference. Thank you so much for the shout out as well, so kind. I know Tracey has enjoyed knitting her wool up and it looks amazing doesn't it? I'm still slogging away on my Flax jumper, I'll try and send a photo - it might motivate me to get it finished - I don't think I'm a sweater knitter. Take care Em x
The Flax is on my list of classic jumpers to knit. Yes, send a photo for sure! It does take a lot of steam to knit a sweater. Im very much a beanie knitter for sure. Instant, and done in a few hours. hahah, you're very welcome Justin and thanks for you kind words. In England, it's now the start of 4 weeks lockdown so all non essential retail is closed, so 4 weeks off for me. So I'm going to spend the afternoon watching on youtube and your latest episode is next on my list now I've just watched The Fiber Hussies hahah.
omg there are many projects there and really i dont have this amount of time even for my channel on youtube , but i will push myself bit to do some diys or recycling some old stuff , i liked the shade so so much and i have a old one need to recycle it so stay tuned
Time is the hardest thing isn't it. Never enough time! Great idea on the recycling old stuff. I think alot of people are doing that here. Can't wait to see what you do! Stuart :)

Funny to hear you mention Donna from Jordan Fabrics. She inspired me to try my first patchwork table runners, since she makes everything look so easy. I loved watching the lamp project. Now I'm wondering whether doing seasonal lampshades in Christmas fabric is taking things too far.
Do it! I do!! When you get out your Christmas decorations, you cover the house and change it all...why not the lampshades? Not going too far at all...just a brilliant attention to detail. I only do the one that goes over the big table for Lunch and the one in the living room. So easy to do. Donna is so good. Learned a lot from her.
