So I have the v2 PA purchased for $630 a few years ago then I purchased a preloved LV chain strap off of a multi Pochette. This is how I got the new look for less.
Hello! I missed the party for this piece so I do not own any previous versions. The pre-love market has already increased prices as well, so I went and got this newer version - she is beautiful - not sure about the chain though but I can take it off. Also, it appears the changes are: the added chain, the interior pockets (1 zippered and a pocket behind it, the slip pocket on the other side with 2 card slots), the D rings outside are thicker and there is an additional D ring (total of 3).

Hihi, yap even with it at $1000+ mark, it is simply way too expensive and not worth for a simple purse. Let alone the ridiculous price now at $2k+.
After a long search, I finally managed to secure a good condition vintage pa at a great deal ($270) at my local pre-loved shop.
Though it has only 1 D ring, I happy with it and the canvas is thick & luxurious as compared to now.
Frankly speaking even canvas from 2012-2015 are still better though the quality has begun to cut corners. Coz I have seen cracks & chipped off canvas from the top, front & corners which I can't believe it's LV quality from a 2017 pochette...
