After joker says that he knew the day would come when Batman's spine would turn to bat jelly, he should have also said "But I never thought I would see the day when Robin's mask would land in bat jelly!!!!
The only reason for Bruce to be in the mobile room was so he could save Robin. And the only reason the Joker didn’t unmask Robin was to set up the cliffhanger.
Robin is a total gentleman. He fought the Joker and his goons as best as possible to protect those innocent ladies. However, the odds were too great. And our villain landed a powerful punch that surprisingly sent the Boy Wonder to the very sticky glue. Yes, it meant his defeat, but had it not been there, then our young caped crime fighter would have hit his head very hard directly on that concrete bench!
tonyocch1, our young hero bravely defended those ladies, and he would've been killed by getting brained on the bench, and so the sticky paste actually saved his life.
ever watch the episode with the minstrel, where batman and robin are tied together back to back on that spit grill rotating round and round above the heated apparatus? their belt buckles are literally right above their crotches! imagine the on set person who had to buckle them in and was directed to do and where!...
This episode was great; I often thought what if joker had closed circuit TV that broadcast the whole kidnapping of the millionaires to Gotham city and the camera is placed in front of the clay that Robin falls into. If aunt Harriet was watching this as Robin pulled his face out, would she realize that the briefly unmasked boy wonder is her nephew Dick?
@steveifko255 He would have known that if he had taken the time to notice that Robin's mask is pulled down and resting on the bridge of his nose- he then could have finished the job and unmasked him
@@valuecalc I think it's amazing that joker didn't think of sneaking up behind Robin and cutting the back of the mask b4 he pulled out of the clay- that would have been a big problem for Robin!!!
They should have unmasked him when they tied him down to the mobile with the knives, that way, should he have escaped, he wouldn't have been able to go after joker since he was unmasked.
Not nice, but on point; I looked up bumpkin and found that it meant an awkward/unsophisticated person. It was very awkward for Robin to be unmasked by that pink clay. I might have even gone so far as to say Boy jelly since the clay was sticky enough to pull his mask down ward.
He sure is- I found out years after this series was released that Caesar Romero was gay. Both me and my childhood friend had conversations wondering if Romero had ever desired Burt ward in his Robin costume, and maybe even affectionately spanked his little muffin!!!!!!❤❤❤

@@hot4panties237I only know that it was Frank Gorshin’s idea for the Riddler to wear a blazer, tie, and bowler as an alternate costume. He probably wore the tights more often, but he wasn’t really a fan of that outfit.
