  • This Video is to show the power of the Value for money Parsun 9.8hp 4 stroke outboard on a waveline inflatable, and to demonstrate the practical uses for such a rig.
Wild life photography is one of the practical uses and so is fishing.
This video will show the results of photos taken on the River.

Hey Ian, great video thanks! Was just wondering how well the Parsun has held up over the years? Cheers

It is still working and start after 3 pulls after not using for a season so not bad, pretty reliable as well.

Yes the 5hp was not good enough for 2 people so had no choice really, now i get 16-18mph with 2 on board, much better speeds when you want to get somewhere and time is presious.

Hello Ian, how long do you have the 9,8 Parsun? I want to buy it too, and I´m searching for information. Are you still satisfied with it?

This should be the China outboard brand, I also looking around for 9hp - 15hp small outboard for troll fishing too.
Is this working good when low speed or idle run?

yes it does work well on idol, trolling is great too I have 2 rods in tubes with the line out weighted to the sea bed and have had good success with this method. I usually go for mackerel or Bass but have had dog fish and cod on the line too.
