It was originally started to honor Keith Whitley and sort of shelved until much later. Now, it's seen almost exclusively as a tribute to Vince's brother.

In an otherwise vacant room with the junk box, I had a private moment with a female soldier across the room over Pocket Full Of Gold. We were intimate for 3 minutes without a touch or a word. Never saw her again but will never forget. That's the power of music and Vince Gill.

It's called eating the way one always has as aging slows everything including metabolism down. I've always enjoyed his sense of humor about his weight gain though. He is one of the best for sure.
I've been a Vince Gill fan for many years. I've met him many times and have wonderful.pictures and memories from that and he is a very nice down to earth person who doesn't judge so how about let's keep that in mind and do the same. Weight is no reason to think less of anyone. He's an amazing singer musician songwriter and humanitarian.
