dudes would rather drop 30 and lose than drop 10 and win. Because if for whatever reason someone ever gave a f about their stats, they could argue that they're losing because of randoms
You know what's even funnier? When you get one that keeps calling everyone trash while missing wide open shots and committing 8 turnovers 😂 I had two yesterday that were pure comedy gold. Dude talking about people being trash while he's missing wide open shots. Then when you laugh at them they say they ain't trying because we're going to lose anyway . Where the hell do these people come from? It's always the one that talks the most that's the worst.

Was off today so got some rec in. I’m in a game where the PG didn’t hit the center on time. We were up and COOKING. The center was so mad he not only sold by proceeding to remain out of bounds for every offensive possession he didn’t have the ball in his hand, continued to talk about that 1 possession the whole game and chucked up every shot he could. Grown man here too. Rec randoms truly are a special species. Not all but most.

God the wishing your teammates leave is so real. Played a game with a guy who shot 0/14 (0/11 from 3) and he quit during the 4th. Immediately the AI was hitting shots. Then another game we had 2 people who couldnt guard their man and couldnt do anything on offense and made us go down 25 points at half. Those 2 left and we managed to squeak by with a 1 point W

The other day I played a game where our shooting guard timed me out every time I got the ball and held it for more than 3 seconds. I was the PG that was 10/10, and I had 6 assists. Our shooting guard was 0/7 where 4 were wide open dots from me. I asked why he aint allowing me to hold the ball, and he called me a ballhogger who dribbles the entire shotclock for no reason. Like bro what?
I'm telling you these dudes be trash as hell and dont care about winning as long as they can shoot 4/18 their mentality is so wild to me you come into a random rec lobby knowing you trash and get upset when someone else is actually hooping but funny thing is these dudes be making spot ups that can't dribble expecting you to magically get them the ball every play

@@mgl2708regular rec you should be able to quit with no repercussions. What they desperately need is a ranked rec where you play players based on your skill level. That way trash players can play trash players and people that actually know how to hoop can hoop.
At the very least they can make plate color actually matter. Purples play with purple. Blacks with blacks. Purple and black plates should never see the court together.

@@niggilywiggily pro am you go in with a team of players of your choice. In a ranked rec would be something to make random rec more enjoyable. Ideally you’d see less of terrible teammates and people who don’t care about winning.

These bums got that main character syndrome. As a C I average 14/15/8 but I understand I’ll have games over that and under that depending on teammates and opponents. I will admit I do get upset when people are bricking consistently or taking up a bunch of bad shots when I’m open and the big man playing paint. Like bro I’m being left open at the 3 shooting 75% give me the damn ball
I started 7/7 from 3 halfway through the 2nd qtr and had to change a dirty diaper. When I came back we were still up by 5 and this guy intentionally sold the game because his feelings were hurt.
Some Black plates have nothing to lose , they’re just there to make the game as unenjoyable for you as it is for them.

9:56 to 10:22 is a huge reason I get burnt out from 2k 90% of the time. It’s too stressful to try to be perfect and still get criticized regardless. Shit’s ass when you just wanna hoop, have fun and catch W’s and there’s still BS regardless of a win/loss or playing great or bad

So I suggest to continue with the coaching only if you see a potential player that's trying to learn game the right way. Appreciate it dude!

Like damn yall not gone reward the dude saving the team? Bro i have screenshots where i have like 28 boards and shooting 100% on 4 or 5 shots and we barely win while everyone else is under 50%. Youll carry and STILL get froze out. Its wild
definitely found this myself when I'm on my SG I get hit all the time whether I'm open or not but whenever I'm on my big standing wide open for at least 5 seconds I dont get a single pass 9/10 the only time I get a pass is when I set a screen and pop or roll

I don't. I feed the big, especially if he has the post moves. You can absolutely cook people with a big that's good in the low block. People can't defend that shit. The defense ends up collapsing to try and stop him, then it's an easy 3 for someone. Rinse and repeat.

I have multiple clips of my FRYING my defender and then here go one of my homies setting a pick with the lock on them to force me to either pass of to get the lock off him smh… Or random wrap or cut as soon as i fry my guy.. Now his man defended what was suppose to be wide open shot attempt.. What's even more mind blowing is this type of stuff happens in squad rec too, its extremely frustrating. I am a veteran 1, I shoot 70% from the field and play good defense.
What do I get in return?
Timeouts on green light shots, timeouts on wide open shots, guys on their shitty mics cussing us out etc. It's wild. I feel your pain.

I literally had a game last night and we just started I dribbled up to half court and waited for things to open up and took two dribbles and then this random calls a timeout and comes on the mic like pass the rock and be a role player. I seen this dudes stats before match and he shoots 30% worse than me but talks like he’s got my shooting percentages. These the dudes you get into games with that ruin it for everyone else

I rarely play PG but I went on my PG build the other day in the Solo Rec and shot 0/0 with 19 Assists, a couple rebounds, couple steals, only 1 turnover and I held my matchup to 8 points I think. Defense and Assisting is my favorite part of the game and I don't understand why others don't like it. I'm not saying I'm great at the game, I get cooked a lot. But if the team around you is decent then you'll be decent.

Seeing your builds has me wanting to go all offense on my next build too. Honestly, it'd be a first. But, it's crazy to me how expensive it is to even get to bronze challenger, and I wonder if it's even worth it.
I came up with something I really like, it even has a build name that I can't find back on youtube (playmaking 3 level scorer). Problem with me is I have a hard time deciding on builds and I end up playing test games for days. Smh lol.

I think Bronze challenger would be worth it. It’s actually what I go for on most of my offense heavy builds at this point in the year. At times it can be annoying not being able to get good contests on the perimeter, and good players know how to exploit you not having any defense. It’s definitely tough when deciding on a build…sometime I do the same thing and sit in the builder for days trying to perfect it. 😂 End of the day, you’re always going to have to sacrifice something so it’s just about figuring out what you’re willing to give up. Man I was on this 6 game rec streak a few days ago and 4 of us on the mic, all really chill and selfless. Like “yall both are killing on pick and roll, just run that until they respond” and they were all “you’re hot, we’re gonna keep feeding you”, nobody pointing fingers or anything.
