No kimmich is definitely better. This is coming from a neutral fan. Kimmich has everything rodri has and he’s more aggressive and a better defender. He’s also a better dribbler and he has probably had the best passing range itw
John Stone is an elite player. When he is fit, he takes city to another level. Probably city's best centre back and now he is playing this inverted role, he will become even better. I think pep should develop him much more in this inverted role, in future seasons as well. Once stones masters this role city will be unstoppable.

Kimmich and gorezka are physical work engines and they were physically pocket KDB, Sliva, Gundogan and Rodri. Bayern Munich defence is too strong haaland, they pocketed Mbappe and Messi. Haaland, grealish, alverez and Foden have no chance against them.

Chelsea fan here and I think Stones has done so well to be able to move into that role. I think the UCL is city's this year as getting to the final should be a breeze. If they play like they have done the last few weeks then the treble is there.
Am I the only City fan that enjoyed this game more than the Madrid 4-0 and Arsenal 4-1? This was my best game from last season. Haaland was injured so people thought we were going to drop points. We started well but conceded against the run of play but our players were unfazed. They didn't rush things, kept building patiently. All 4 goals City scored were beautiful. KDB, Alvarez, Mahrez, Stones, Rodri, Grealish were all exceptional, it was difficult to choose a MOTM.
Really don’t understand how people call Rodri world class and how much composure he has. It is easy to have composure when 90% of the time you receive the ball you play it backwards to your centerbacks

Tbf even though he was often calamitous and you could say it was law of averages he would score with all his chances, Sterling did get about 25 goals a season three seasons running which is no mean feat for a winger, his positioning was really good just as a city fan I definitely don’t miss seeing him through on goal cos he would do everything except shoot
