I’m not an Eliza stan. BUT!! Everyone always says oh Eliza took over the house and decorated it the way she wants. Can we be real for a sec, Bob’s a loner and a slob. If it was left to him to decorate it would be furniture made out of milk crates and dirty socks everywhere!
May be projecting a little bit as I’m in the process of divorcing a “Bob”. When I moved out his Mum came over to help him decorate because it was a boring monochromatic box once I took my stuff.

I'm hard on myself as well. However I've watched builds where the builder is insulting themselves quite often. Thinking they could have done better. I think its a matter of opinion than being modest. Hear me out. Oftentimes someone, such as yourself could come up with a build that I've never seen someone else do. A different thought process. I find that refreshing. Please give the Bistro another try and keep an open mind. You may come up with something that no one else has done and inspire us. I'm personally going to give the Bistro a try. But I want to actually do a Bakery/Bistro and living quarters separate of the building.
I've also thought of Eliza being over powering and him not happy. When I was sad or unhappy I did some things that seemed like reverting but made me happy. So you're not far off on that thought process.

Beautiful house. But, I gotta say even for Eliza pancakes. That's pretty cold, pretty mean not to allow him anywhere in the house. I mean, how can he be an active father in his son's life? And he's not allowed to be present anywhere in the home. It doesn't make any sense to me. And if I was him, I would divorce her and sue for custody of my son. Just saying that's a horrible way to treat a person especially somebody that you laid up and made a child with and then to turn around and treat them like that so horrible.

I totally get your points, thank you for explaining them so well.
I ran with the story already in place and perhaps embelished a little (because it's The Sims) to make it easier for me to put this house together for the family.
