I've been homeless since November 2017 because I left an abusive man. Found out I was pregnant February 2018 and my parents already have my oldest 2 boys I'm working and living by faith more than ever now because I refuse to let CPS take my new son due in October. I grew up harassed and verbally abused by my family and peers. It's what led to where I discovered who I was and that I am who I am. I went and got my blessing at the age of 19 and learned to become independent and take care of myself. There's still more blessings to come for me. 🙏
A little update:. 4 years ago I made a comment here. I said we have to go get what God has already said is ours. In May of 2017 I started a journey to become a high school teacher. Our state offers a non-traditional teacher program if you already hold a bachelor's degree. It's a 2 year part-time program. I had wanted to enter this program for over 15 years, but kept thinking of excuses why I shouldn't "take the leap." Long story short, I finished the program and am in my 4th year of teaching. In May of 2017, something "nudged" me to get started (I believe God put it in my heart). I've worked very hard, but it is such a rewarding career! God has blessed me so very much; all the credit belongs to Him. ♥️♥️♥️
