It would be interesting, because GSP routinely developed strategies to dominate wrestlers, even while not originally being a wrestler himself. But Khabib has defended his belt twice, not even close to as often as Joanna or Rhonda. And won his belt by fighting a scrub who was barely even in the top ten. GSP took his belt from the former legend and defended it 9 times. So yeah, Khabib is not even a remarkable champion yet.. And while I think Khabib is awesome, he can only be called GOAT by people new to the sport, and that's a fact. Because his name has no place in that hat.

Edit: Remember before his fight with Barboza and how everyone said he would get kicked to death yet he mauled him. Michael Johnson was also supposed to beat him. People even said Porier will KO him because he was undefeated in 6 fights. Conor too.

AJ Herd definitely agree with you but do not compare for a moment Wilder with Khabib not skill wise but in terms of mentality, the guy said that he lost because the outfit he was wearing was too heavy and made him tired the other after the Conor fight he talked about a problem he had prior to the fight (which I don’t remember honestly) and said that had he lost he wouldn’t have said so in post fight press conference because people would have though that he was making excuses.... just two completely different mentalities imo

Khabib is literally just a really good wrestler, he is not near to be called a good boxer. Overall fighters like GSP or Edgar are better tbh. Both got really great boxing and wrestling which make them more dangerous

His striking is fairly average so that's already one part to look at.
There's no denying how good this guy is - stronger, tougher, more skilled and definitely smarter. Plus he seems to be a good person.
