Use the highchair for your little boy so he will sit still and eat. This teaches him that when food is on the table he needs to sit and eat, not walk around then later he's hungry. Love from Florida.
@LeTrangThuy the big chair your husband made that has the tray, would help him learn to sit still and feed himself with the food on the tray in front of him. I used highchairs for both my boys when they were toddler's, it is better than holding them. Your son is growing so fast and is adorable. My boys were big like your little boy. Love and best wishes

My child can walk so he can't sit in a high chair. I will try to train him
