I used to use an A6300 about a year ago, then in august I bought an A7C because I had my first paid client job, I loved everything about the A7C and would have never wanted more from a camera, at least for a few months... Being a 17 year old student with only client I found that I jumped into full frame too early, lenses are too expensive and I was stuck with an f4 lens not really being able to take advantage of the camera. I am currently selling my A7C on ebay to fund an A6700 because in the long term it will allow me to further my ability with cheaper lenses being widely available to me through APSC, im excited to upgrade to the A6700 soon it will most likely be my main camera for the next year or two!
Yes thank you so much. I bought this two weeks ago. Partly because the great reviews you gave. :) It’s an amazing camera so far. But I’m a totally novice.
I'm a beast, yes sir....😂💛 Thanks for this comprehensive video, it is much needed and appreciated 👍🏻❤️ My new A6700 is coming later this year Hope I can utilise that beast to it's full potential 🤘🏻
I love everything about the camera but the video & picture qualitity. Compared to my a7iii i always get a lot of iso issues in lower light.. so my conclusion: if you dont have a gmaster or super high aperture lense - this camera is not so perfect.
Thank you so much for the video! About the LUTs, what should I do if I can't find a "SONY" carpet in my SD card. I tried creating the path myself but won't work either.
@@KoloriGaming Hi, yes, I'm afraid it did, doesn't seem to make any difference if you use hdmi. It will run 1080p and the minimum bit rate all day long (dummy battery). I've now bought the ulanzi back fan (updated version with spring system, solid piece of kit) I feel confident this will solve the problem, I'll keep you updated 🙏
Unbelievably valuable video. Dude, I can’t believe you took the time to break all this down. I’ve watched it before when I first got my a6700, and I’m watching it again now and still learning from it.
Wow, such a good breakdown, thank you for that, got my a6700 yesterday, still waiting for the lens. I'm a bit apprehensive about streaming and using it as a webcam all day due to the overheating rumours. I currently use a canon 80D, switched on all day long, never even gets hot so fingers crossed. Keep up the good work my friend 🙌🏻
This video is very well done. Easy to watch with great sound, lighting, outdoor scenes and a presenter with some rizz. I hope you do a deeper dive into some of the more complex af and photo settings at some point.
Liked commented and subscribed :) Thank you... Keen to know if we can achieve similar skin tone with the a6700 as you have in your main talking head stuff here. I noticed that the talking head using the A6700 was a bit more exposed and the skin tones were more harsh. Is the difference due mostly to colour grading?
Question regarding the screen. When you open it fully does it open 180 degrees, or just a bit less, like the FX30 screen? Meaning, when looking from above, is it parallel with the body?
I wouldn’t suggest that as the main lens. It’s a full frame lens will be closer to 60ish mm on the crop sensor of the a6700. Something like this is likely a better main lens: www.amazon.com/dp/B08PFNNKCC/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_YF7QAK7BD1RJWF2D60AV?linkCode=ml2&tag=seandewispela-20
Random question, on the display. How do you I get those 4 little right angles that create the small focus box in the middle of the screen? Thanks man. I watch all your vids.
wow, you need to be on top of the search results for anything related to A6700, truly amazing work !! can you also share some info regarding overheating of A6700 and how to deal with it ? its been bugging me and its not even summers yet!
Hi @@adverspace actually i am facing a wierd issue , in a6700 let me know if you also, actually in photos mode in night time there is a lot of grain , but as soon as i switch to video no visible grains in lcd screen, i am using viltrox 13mm f1.4 in night, i have reset the camera yet still the issue exist ?
Great video! A little fast on the 'Menu' selections, but that's where the 'pause' feature comes in handy. LOL! Im not interested in doing a lot of 'post' and prefer shooting in S-Cinetone. The camera is used for family stills and casual videos.
Is there too much low light difference between a6700 and A7IV? O want it for Hybrid Shooting and I could get the a6700 with a Nice Lens even a Gimbal, or the A7IV with Kit for similar cost.
I don’t know why my A6700 everytime i shooting photo on vertical , then my screen automatic become dark, while i put horizontal it normally. Someone know that problem please help me solve it.

My variable shutter speed only goes down to 48. Something else must be affecting it.
3:03 you can livestream to computer in 4k 30 (yea for like 45 min before overheating)
i've seen if you use hdmi instead of usb c it doesn't seems to have that problem, got my a6700 yesterday so gonna give it a try in my streams

This is the most bullshit camera by sony. It overheats even recording 1080p 10 bit
