What a delightful video! As a teenager in the late 70's/early 80's I worked on a stall selling antiquarian books on the corner of Denbigh Terrace opposite this guy's shop (he was a teenager too) 8:57. I occasionally bought fruit and veg from this lady whom I recognised immediately because she's hardly changed at all from how she looked back then 5:15. I remember the busker with the parrot and small polyphon/barrel organ and the guy who did the escape artist routine. I feel very lucky to have spent my formative years around the genuine characters that populated Portobello Road.
