I like most of these *ESPECIALLY* Daran Norris and Frank Welker for Thok and Zaktan, but i personally can't hear Matau as anyone other than Brian Drummond
Two Decepticons, a Fire Lord, and the Joker in the Piraka...yikes, no wonder the Toa Nuva had such a hard time against them. Once again, these are very nice choices for these characters. Although, to be honest, for some reason I can't stop imaging Tom Kenny (channeling Raimundo from XIAOLIN ShOWDOWN), Jason Marsden, Will Friedle (early Ron Stoppable from KIM POSSIBLE or Deadpool), or possibly Kirby Morrow voicing Toa Matau.
I‘m just gonna get this out of the way right off the bat; I think they nailed the voices for almost all of the Toa Metru in Legends of Metru Nui. For the record, that film is my personal least favourite in the series, yet even I’m willing to admit they got casting of the main characters right. There were a couple of times where Trevor Devall didn’t seem sure what voice to give Nuju, but otherwise, I have no complaints when it comes to the casting of that film’s six leads. I’m saying this because, while I’ll keep an open mind to your casting ideas, they will have high bars to clear. All right, let’s see what you’ve got. Toa Vakama: Like I said, I think they got the Toa Metru’s voices perfectly in the movies, and Alessandro Juliani as Toa Vakama was the heart of that. But that being said, I’d be willing to give James McAvoy a chance. Toa Nokama: Grey Delisle or Tabitha St Germain, either works. Toa Onewa: I paraphrase my previous statement; Steve Blum or Brian Drummond, either works. Toa Nuju: Okay, THIS one I support completely. Not only equal to Trevor Devall, but superior. The king (so to speak) has been dethroned! Toa Whenua: I can get on board with this one. For me, Paul Dobson is still the definitive Toa Whenua, but Clancy Brown seems fitting too. Toa Matau: Okay, between Vakama, Nokama, Onewa and now Matau, are you TRYING to make me say “either works“?? Hakann: This just strikes me as way too high-pitched and comedic. I always imagined Hakann (and really, most of the Piraka, but especially Hakann) with a deeper, raspier voice. For Hakann in particular, I think of Michael Madsen doing his Maugrim voice from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Vezok: Okay, I’ll agree that having the same guy voice both Vezok and Vezon would be a clever choice, especially if he has a real versatile voice like Mark Hamill. And yeah, he sounds villainous enough to play a Piraka, this could really work. But again, this just isn’t what I have in mind for Vezok and, honestly, I’d save Hamill for a bigger, badder character - like Karzahni, or Miserix, or the King Root of the Morbuzakh. For Vezok, I’m thinking something more along the lines of Hayes Macarthur doing his Thrasher the reindeer voice. Vezon: I’ll admit, a Joker-ish voice is what I always had in mind for Vezon, but the accent, mania, and sophistication of Mark Hamill’s isn’t it. Okay, hear me out on this. When I read Vezon’s lines, I hear them in a softer, more inquisitive voice that comes across as more bright and optimistic than sinister - so, I hear something along the lines of Heath Ledger’s or Jared Leto’s Jokers (I know, make whatever joke you want about Leto). And given that Ledger is… let’s say “unavailable” (still too soon?)… well, as long as he doesn’t mail anyone any used condoms, I’d give Leto a shot. Avak: Not what I had in mind, but now that I hear it, I can hop on this bandwagon. Thok: Wow, that is eerily perfect. This time, forget what I always imagined. Reidak: I always imagined Reidak with a deeper, more guttural voice - so yeah, if he does something like his Atriox voice from Halo Wars 2, then I’m totally in favour of John DiMaggio. Zaktan: Not a bad choice, but I always imagined Zaktan with a younger, angrier voice - something like Brian Drummond doing his Shockblast voice from Transformers Energon, or Scott McNeil doing his Repton voice from Storm Hawks. Oh, another couple of casting suggestions, by the way; 1) George Newbern (doing his Sephiroth voice) as the Shadowed One. 2) Ron Perlman (doing his Slade voice from Teen Titans) as Makuta Antroz. (Yep, finally made up my mind about that.) 3) Hugo Weaving (doing his Megatron voice from Transformers) as Makuta Icarax. My only real critique is that you didn't include Axonn or Brutaka (or some of the Dark Hunters like Nidhiki, Krekka, Roodaka, or even The Shadowed One. I'd love to see parts featuring some of the more notable side characters.

I would never have thought of Krillin’s voice for Matau, but it works perfectly!! Also, James McAvoy was a great pick for Vakama.
