上學是為了文憑，工作是為了退休，活著是無可奈何。
寄望一個摸不著的將來，大笑是怕眼淚滴下來。
那傷心太深沉，取名叫厭世。
LINION 說：
「其實我們可以快樂。」
「其實我們可以有快樂的歌。」
「其實我們可以隨著快樂的歌快樂地動起來。」
黑人音樂裡最 Smooth & Groove 的 Neo-Soul（新靈魂樂），
是他希望所有人找到的答案。
21 歲的 LINION 乍看之下跟一般台灣年輕大男孩沒什麼兩樣，除了他眼裡透露出對於音樂的極度追求、以及紮實的自信之外。在近年一波 R&B 復甦的浪潮中，LINION 以身兼硬底子貝斯手與 Beatmaker 的雙重身份成為同輩中的異數，懷舊與創新在他身上巧妙融合，Band Sound 與嘻哈 808 鼓機疊合出讓人自由泅泳的節奏海洋。
LIN 是他的姓氏，-ION 代表組成他的離子，LINION 這個名字是向世界發出的堅定宣言。小六開始在台灣學樂器的他，很自然玩的都是搖滾樂，直到 18 歲踏進美國 MI 音樂學院打開眼界，發現原來要做一直喜愛的黑人音樂並非遙不可及。為了一口氣提升實力，LINION 每天早上 6 點半起床，在學校琴房一直練習到晚上 10 點才回家休息，這個習慣一直延續至今。在別人忙著外出跑趴玩樂的時候，他專注累積各種音樂技能，向 Earth, Wind & Fire 鍵盤手學和弦，向 Moonchild 鼓手學做 Beat，一步步接近自己心中理想的音樂世界。
在 MI 留學那段時間裡，LINION 遇見三名志同道合的台灣學生，師法偶像 Robert Glasper，一起組了樂團「SOME」。在創作幾首歌之後，他們相信這個樂團能真正實現屬於台灣音樂人的新靈魂樂，約好回台灣要一起努力。然而突如其來的命運讓人措手不及──就在 LINION 回國的同時，擔任樂團核心的吉他手意外身亡，留下的三缺一再也無法往前進。在茫然無助之際，剩下的兩名團員鼓勵 LINION：「你不是會做 Beat 嗎？如果是你的話，一個人一定也能辦到的！」於是，身為 SOME 貝斯手的他停留在過去，全才音樂人 LINION 卻誕生了。
〈Can’t Find〉
被兵變當時寫下的曲子，結構最簡單，情感卻也最純粹。寫完之後擱置了好幾個月，要錄音時花費很多時間才找回當時的感覺。每個人都有一首蜷縮在角落舔拭傷口的心碎之歌，對 LINION 來說〈Can’t Find〉就是那樣的一首歌曲。
At first glance, the 21-year-old Taiwan R&B rising star LINION is no different from any average Asian young boy, except for his eyes showing extreme dedication to his pursuit of music, and a glow of solid self-confidence. In the recent waves of Asian R&B/Soul brought on by artists from Korea and Japan, LINION stands out unique with his solid background as a bassist as well as a beatmaker. His combination of the retro and the neo transforms and leads listeners to freely float through an ocean of beats.
LINION, the name he uses to present himself to the world, is a combination of his surname, Lin, and the word "ion," the very building blocks of his physical composition. He started his musical journey in the sixth grade and entered the prestigious Musicians Institute (MI) at age 18, determined to create the next generation of Asian soul music. To achieve this goal, LINION starts his day practicing in the school piano room from 6:30 in the morning, and works till 10 o'clock in the evening. He has kept up with this routine to this day. While his peers were busy partying, he focused his energy on accumulating a variety of musical skills. He studied chords from keyboard player Henry 'Soleh' Brewer (Earth, Wind & Fire), and beats from drummer Efa Etoroma Jr. (Moonchild), all taking him a step closer to reaching his ideal world of music.
During his time at MI, he met three like-minded students from Taiwan. Following the footsteps of their idol, the iconic jazz pianist Robert Glasper, the four formed the band SOME. Unfortunately, the strike of fate halted the band's plan to return to and start their career in Taiwan. The sudden and unexpected death of their guitarist had put a stop to everything. Amidst grief and helplessness, the remaining two members encouraged LINION to carry on their musical dreams and continue on as a solo artist.
"Can't Find"
Written in response to his lover's betrayal, the song is composed of the simplest of structures while carrying the purest of emotions. Its recording did not happen until months after being written. A lot of efforts were made to summon the feel of the song back. There is one song for everyone to curl up in the corner and lick their wounds to. For LINION, "Can't Find" is one such song.

好喜欢这首歌。一年多了，每次听都会勾回我曾经听这首歌的时候的心情，从美国到搬回中国的种种回忆。没想到一首歌可以有这么大的力量。总是不敢听太多，怕听腻怎么办，但真的没有找到过一首歌可以那么安静的带动我这么多情绪。

I love this song so much and I've been listening to it for 3 months. Today I decided to look for it on UA-cam. I was really surprised when I saw that it don't have hundred thousand of views. I love it with all my heart (❤️) and I listen to it always when I'm sad or lonely and not only then. I admire so much the great talent LINION has. I think his music is underestimated by the UA-cam community.
