Similar to the first release that came with the throne for $100 but not this time around. This deluxe version cost $160 if you want the throne and additional head sculpt and spear. If you don’t, then the regular release is just $100 bucks. What are your thoughts
@@skyfigurefun oh man i thought the same but it’s better to have that then to see it in hand and then want it. Especially because some people suck and will try to upsell making it hard for people to get it later
I had to order the deluxe edition; having missed out on the first release, there was absolutely no way I was going to be satisfied with the regular release of this figure. Heck, I passed my MacFarlane Toys Shao Kahn onto my brother because I knew that figure- as good as it is- will pale in comparison to this guy; and in my collection, there can be only ONE Shao Kahn lol I feel the throne is just as important as his wrath hammer; he's the Emperor, so it definitely sits well with his character. Admittedly, I actually prefer the original release because of the old school vibes it gives off (having played MK since the first one and MKII being a classic/childhood fave of mine), but this figure is still gonna be bad ass. Can't wait to finally get him!
I haven’t reviewed his og figure yet but I do have him. He’s nice but the shoulder pads are annoying moving around a lot. But it’s a fire figure. If you can get your hands on him, I would.
@@outtadaboxreviews Mate, I would LOVE to get my hands on a old school Shao Kahn, but he's ridiculously expensive! I'm from Australia, and our dollar is weaker than the US, so the amount I'd have to spend (after conversion) just isn't worth it at the end of the day, which does suck...but that's just life, you know? One thing I learned rather quickly was how quickly you gotta buy these guys at retail. There's not a great deal of stores here in Australia that sell these guys (and they often sell out quick when they have stock- depending on the character), so I'm kinda forced to grab them either on eBay or Big Bad Toy Store. The RRP isn't the greatest, but I would rather that than the prices that follow later on lol But anyways, I'm just happy to finally get my hands on a Shao Kahn and Goro- having already gotten Motaro and Kintaro, my boss/sub boss collection is complete! 😁😁
